Synopsis
The proprietress, Zhang Qiao'er, learned some cat training skills from the performers who frequented the marketplace when she was a child. Since opening her cat emporium, families in the city needing feline companions have followed the process to adopt cats from her shop. Unexpectedly, a major case in the city entangles Zhang Qiao'er, leading to her acquaintance with Ma Qingshan, an honest junior constable from Lin'an Prefecture.
As the investigation deepens, Zhang Qiao'er's other identity is gradually revealed: she is the notorious "Little Cat Thief" whom Ma Qingshan has been pursuing. During their cat-and-mouse chase, feelings develop between them. Ultimately, they unmask the true culprit behind the scenes together and safeguard the city of Lin'an.
