The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Er Yue Sheng and mainly tells the story of volunteer Qin Fei and medical team leader Xing Zhizhi, who strive in their respective careers while supporting each other in life.

Synopsis
In a disaster-stricken area in the southwest, a medical rescue team and volunteers arrived, including actress Qin Fei. Many believed she was there just for show, but Qin Fei worked diligently and even risked her life to save others in critical moments. Spending days and nights together, the team leader, Xing Zhizhi, saw Qin Fei's inner strength and kindness, deepening their mutual understanding. Qin Fei also realized that the young doctor who saved her during a dance competition accident years ago, rekindling her hope, was Xing Zhizhi.
Their connection had begun long ago. They supported each other in life and pursued their careers with dedication. Xing Zhizhi joined another important rescue mission, while Qin Fei regained public recognition through her efforts. Qin Fei told Xing Zhizhi, "You save lives with your own. You promised me you'd return safely. I believe everything you say, even if they're beautiful lies."

Chen Xingxu is indeed and truly good looking, the more you look at him the more you see his handsomeness. The acting is soooo superb, weather his smirking, angry or teasing he can nail it, His face emotion have it all. He is a great actor by far. The hardest thing is when he has no drama showing it is so frustrating to wait….I hope He has lots and lots of project and release one after another. While waiting for his drama to release I watched other drama the good thing by doing this I can compare and realise His face is truly handsome and the others the more you look at them you can see the traces of science. also you can see how his acting is great compare to others. The female lead ” A beautiful lies ”, what is wrong with her eyes, is that an eye bag or bad make up? Anyway I am watching this and repeating every episode because of CXX.
