Qin Fei took care of Xing Zhizhi after he got drunk, noticing how worried he seemed about missing his chance with her. She realized he was too afraid of losing her to take the risk, and that his hesitation came from fear. Determined, she decided to formally confess her feelings to him. She called Ren Siqi to inform her that she was about to start dating Xing Zhizhi and advised her to prepare herself.

Xing Zhizhi’s sister called him, but since he couldn’t answer, Qin Fei picked up the phone for him. On the other end, a woman mentioned that Xing Zhizhi had promised to take “Baobei” to the amusement park. Qin Fei introduced herself as Xing Zhizhi’s friend. Xing Zhizhi’s sister, intending to test Qin Fei, didn’t reveal that she was his sister. She simply asked Qin Fei to remind Xing Zhizhi to call Baobei back, saying Baobei missed him.

Qin Fei felt uneasy after the call, thinking Xing Zhizhi might already have a child. Luo Xiaoxiao helped Qin Fei pick out an outfit for Xing Zhizhi’s upcoming speech, but Qin Fei kept glancing at her phone, waiting for him to explain. She got annoyed and said she wouldn’t attend the event. When Xing Zhizhi woke up, he called his sister to ask what she’d said to make Qin Fei leave him such a sarcastic message.

Realizing his sister had deliberately not explained their relationship, he knew Qin Fei must have misunderstood. He sent her a family photo, clarifying that the “ancestor” and “Baobei” were his sister and nephew. Seeing the message, Qin Fei realized her mistake. Luo Xiaoxiao had a red dress that was a little small on her, so she lent it to Qin Fei.

Feeling reassured, Qin Fei wore the red dress to attend Xing Zhizhi’s speech but was mistakenly abducted in the parking lot by the obsessed fan who had been stalking Luo Xiaoxiao. Ka Fei waited for Qin Fei but eventually called Luo Xiaoxiao, who informed her that Qin Fei had left earlier. Ka Fei, Luo Xiaoxiao, and Liu Yanze searched around, and in the parking lot, they found Qin Fei’s dropped sunglasses, realizing something had gone wrong.

After taking Qin Fei, Liu Wei realized he’d kidnapped the wrong person, berating himself for the mistake and blaming it on why Xiaoxiao didn’t like him. Qin Fei told him the dress was loaned to her by Luo Xiaoxiao and promised she wouldn’t call the police if he let her go. As he allowed her to leave, he noticed her phone in hand and realized he’d been tricked, demanding she hand it over.

Qin Fei took the chance to call Xing Zhizhi for help. Xing Zhizhi, hearing her distress, left his speech immediately to rescue her. Liu Yanze advised Xing Zhizhi to listen carefully for any environmental clues. Xing Zhizhi noted the background noise, and the hotel security mentioned a loud, echoing sound in a storage room on the basement floor. Xing Zhizhi confirmed he’d also heard echoes. Liu Yanze and Luo Xiaoxiao quickly went to rescue Qin Fei.

When Liu Yanze entered, Liu Wei immediately held Qin Fei at knifepoint. Liu Yanze urged him to release her, saying it wasn’t too late to turn back. Liu Wei replied that he had no way back. Luo Xiaoxiao, seeing his agitation, tried to calm him, offering to meet him instead if he let Qin Fei go. Liu Wei accused her of lying, saying she had chosen Liu Yanze over him. Luo Xiaoxiao replied that Liu Yanze was only her bodyguard.

Liu Wei scoffed, saying her gaze was full of feelings for Liu Yanze, so Luo Xiaoxiao sent him away on purpose. As she distracted Liu Wei, Liu Yanze stealthily approached from behind and restrained him. Just as Luo Xiaoxiao was helping Qin Fei leave, Liu Wei suddenly broke free and lunged at Xiaoxiao, shoving her against a shelf. Liu Yanze shielded Xiaoxiao, while Qin Fei, having fallen to the ground, was about to be hit by a falling fire extinguisher.

Xing Zhizhi rushed over, pulling her into his arms, but was struck on the head and collapsed, apologizing to Qin Fei for being late as he fainted. Xing Zhizhi suffered a minor concussion. When he regained consciousness, Qin Fei felt a pang of guilt, thinking he was hurt because of her. Xing Zhizhi’s sister came to visit him, and Qin Fei, after greeting her, stepped out of the room.

Over the next few days in the hospital, Xing Zhizhi waited anxiously, as Qin Fei hadn’t visited him. Growing impatient, he tried to discharge himself to find her, but his sister stopped him, urging him to be patient. He messaged Qin Fei to ask her to meet. After meeting with Xing Zhizhi’s sister, Qin Fei felt more confident and agreed to meet him by the musical fountain.

At the fountain, Qin Fei confessed her feelings, telling Xing Zhizhi that he had “officially passed,” and from now on, he was her boyfriend. She said that with him by her side, she feared nothing and believed they would be together for a long, long time.
