Qin Fei told Xing Zhizhi that she took his talk about quantum entanglement and fate seriously. She remembered how he had saved her in France, and now, once again, he had thrown himself forward to save her. She wanted to believe, just once, that he wouldn’t leave her. Qin Fei and Xing Zhizhi began a long-distance relationship, sharing their daily schedules with each other while continuing their own work. Their lives were filled with sweetness and fulfillment. He transferred to the rehabilitation department, but recently, he’d been having nightmares and headaches.

He was thrilled at the news, and he went on a big shopping spree, stocking up on all her favorite snacks, along with a box of condoms. ” She said it was nothing like that, hinting to Xing Zhizhi that, even if he knew her words were lies, he should still believe her. Xing Zhizhi asked if she’d believe him, and Qin Fei replied she would. Xing Zhizhi then promised he would never hurt her.
