Qin Fei noticed that Xing Zhizhi hadn’t been himself lately and felt that his mood had been down since Li Changjiang’s surgery. She asked if anything was wrong, but Xing Zhizhi didn’t want her to worry, so he reassured her that nothing was bothering him. Qin Fei suggested a trip to relax, mentioning that since they became a couple, they hadn’t had a proper vacation together. They decided to go to Sanya to enjoy the ocean.

Xing Zhizhi applied for a six-month leave from the hospital to go on vacation with Qin Fei and relax. Yu Zhecheng requested that he stay to help with some responsibilities, but Xing Zhizhi had made up his mind, surprising their colleagues. After all, Xing Zhizhi had recently completed a major surgery and was at a prime moment for promotion and a raise, so his sudden leave puzzled everyone.

The nurses speculated that Qin Fei might be pregnant, and Xing Zhizhi was even preparing to propose. Yu Zhecheng mentioned the pregnancy rumor to Ka Fei, who cheerfully asked Qin Fei how far along she was and if it was a boy or a girl, leaving Qin Fei confused as she wasn’t aware of any pregnancy. At the hospital, Xing Zhiwu heard about Qin Fei’s rumored pregnancy and, delighted, sought out Xing Zhizhi to ask him about it.

Xing Zhizhi clarified that Qin Fei was not pregnant and confided in her about his psychological condition, asking her not to inform their parents. Xing Zhiwu asked if Qin Fei knew about his condition. Xing Zhizhi replied that Qin Fei might know a little, but he wasn’t sure he could tell her everything, as he didn’t want her to worry.

Later, while Qin Fei was waiting at the airport for Xing Zhizhi to finish work so they could go to Sanya, she received a call informing her that he had been in a car accident. She rushed to the hospital, where Xing Zhizhi explained that it was just a minor rear-end collision and that he’d only injured his hand.

Relieved, Qin Fei said it was fine as long as he was okay, though he would no longer be able to accompany her to Sanya. Xing Zhizhi later explained to his psychologist, Dr. Ge Wu, that it hadn’t actually been a rear-end collision. While he was on his way to the airport, he suddenly saw Xiao Jia appear in the middle of the road, causing him to swerve and crash into the guardrail. Dr.

Ge Wu told him that his condition was more serious than initially thought. Learning that he was planning to travel with Qin Fei, Dr. Ge Wu acknowledged that a change of environment might help him recover and that three months of improvement was possible. However, he warned Xing Zhizhi not to get his hopes up, as there could be setbacks, and, if things didn’t improve, he might need medication, which could have side effects like nerve dulling and slower movement.

Not wanting Qin Fei to worry, Xing Zhizhi decided not to travel with her and instead told her that the hospital had assigned him to a conference for two months. Qin Fei was reluctant to part with him but accepted his decision. At a banquet, Luo Xiaoxiao encountered a former admirer, President Wang, who, learning that she had broken up with Chen Shen, expressed his long-time feelings for her and offered her various resources if she left Chen Shen for him.

Luo Xiaoxiao rejected him, stating that she wasn’t interested. Feeling humiliated in front of others, President Wang insisted she drink a glass of juice instead of alcohol, knowing that she couldn’t drink since she was driving. However, it was mango juice, to which she was allergic. He ordered his men to follow her car and take photos of her with a red, rash-covered face from the allergic reaction, intending to humiliate her publicly.

Luo Xiaoxiao had a severe reaction and couldn’t breathe properly. She pulled over to look for her medication but couldn’t find it and, just before fainting, managed to make a call. Liu Yanze received the call and, worried, found her location, only to see someone taking pictures of the unconscious Luo Xiaoxiao. He punched the photographer, administered the medication, and helped her recover. Liu Yanze was injured while helping her and needed hospitalization.

Xing Zhizhi, alongside the hospital director, assisted in the surgery. During the operation, Xing Zhizhi again saw Xiao Jia. After the surgery, the director asked Xing Zhizhi why he had requested such a long leave. Xing Zhizhi confided that he had never fully recovered, and Xiao Jia was now beyond his control. The director understood that Xing Zhizhi intended to leave the hospital and assured him that, despite his struggles, he should not give up. He encouraged Xing Zhizhi to strive toward regaining the confidence that once made him proud.
