Luo Xiaoxiao rushed to the hospital upon hearing about Liu Yanze’s injuries. She felt heartbroken seeing him lying on the hospital bed covered in bruises and stayed by his side, taking careful care of him while he was unconscious. A young nurse named Li Xue, who had a crush on Liu Yanze, came by to deliver his team uniform from the day he was injured.

She saw Luo Xiaoxiao there and noticed a photo of Liu Yanze with Luo Xiaoxiao, as well as medication for allergies, fall out of his clothes. Li Xue explained that she and Liu Yanze had only met a few times and weren’t a couple, hoping Luo Xiaoxiao wouldn’t misunderstand her presence. Luo Xiaoxiao, who had even turned down a new acting role to take care of him, remained by his side. Every day, Luo Xiaoxiao would come at 8:30 a. m.

and stay with Liu Yanze for the entire day. She overheard the nurses mentioning that a member of the Xiaoyun Rescue Team was severely injured and had difficulty affording the medical bills due to financial hardship. Delaying a bit to inquire about donation options, she was late getting back to Liu Yanze’s room and, upon arrival, found him awake.

However, watching the interaction between Liu Yanze and Li Xue, Luo Xiaoxiao felt out of place and decided not to cling to Liu Yanze. She forced a bitter smile as she left. Meanwhile, Xing Zhizhi contacted Xi Xi and learned that her aunt and uncle had turned their house into a guesthouse. He decided to go there to reset and adjust his state of mind.

Qin Fei, thinking he was going on a two-month business trip to Australia, was reluctant to see him leave. She asked if he could wait to go until Liu Yanze recovered fully. Xing Zhizhi reassured her, saying he had already visited Liu Yanze and that his recovery was progressing well, so there was no need to worry. When Qin Fei offered to drive him to the airport, Xing Zhizhi declined, saying that Yu Zhecheng would take him instead.

Luo Xiaoxiao went to talk to Qin Fei, who encouraged her to have an open conversation with Liu Yanze. Qin Fei was touched by how tirelessly Luo Xiaoxiao had cared for him, saying she could see that Liu Yanze truly cared for her. Qin Fei thought that Liu Yanze probably had his reasons for rejecting Luo Xiaoxiao’s feelings. Luo Xiaoxiao felt that since he hadn’t explained the reason for their breakup, there was no need for her to know anymore.

Hearing about the rescue team member’s financial struggles, Luo Xiaoxiao anonymously founded a charitable foundation and donated a sum to help the rescue team. Chen Shen commented on how dedicated she was to Liu Yanze, but Luo Xiaoxiao clarified that, unlike before, her actions were no longer for him. She explained that she had once wanted to be a rescue team member herself but hadn’t been able to follow through.

This donation was her way of supporting those who selflessly helped others. Qin Fei’s younger brother, Lu Yicheng, decided he didn’t want to continue his studies and came to find Qin Fei. He remarked that Xing Zhizhi seemed like a person who would enjoy bossing others around and couldn’t understand how someone as free-spirited as Qin Fei would end up with him. He doubted that Xing Zhizhi would even like someone like Qin Fei.

Meanwhile, Xing Zhizhi had arrived at Xi Xi’s aunt and uncle’s guesthouse, helping out with various simple tasks, which kept him content and busy. Xi Xi, however, felt frustrated because her aunt and uncle wouldn’t let her do any work around the house, so she felt helpless. Xing Zhizhi suggested she try selling grapes online. When Qin Fei noticed Xi Xi selling grapes online, she ordered a large quantity to support her, and they were delivered to her home.

Lu Yicheng saw the grapes and realized that they were the same kind Xing Zhizhi had been eating. He pointed out that Australia’s climate wasn’t suited to grow Shine Muscat grapes, leading him to suspect that Xing Zhizhi wasn’t actually in Australia. He told Qin Fei that Xing Zhizhi was lying to her, but she didn’t believe him and told him to go home to their mother.

Refusing to leave, Lu Yicheng insisted he could prove that Xing Zhizhi was lying and accused Qin Fei of being too scared to find out if Xing Zhizhi was unreliable. Qin Fei reluctantly agreed to let him investigate. During a video call with Xing Zhizhi, Lu Yicheng asked to see the Australian sky and captured a photo of the moon.

He then used Qin Fei’s knowledge of moon phases to confirm that Xing Zhizhi was actually in the Northern Hemisphere and was, in fact, staying in Linkang County with Xi Xi.
