Qin Fei and Ka Fei confronted Yu Zhecheng, pressing him to reveal where Xing Zhizhi really was. Yu Zhecheng tried to cover up with another story, but Ka Fei threatened to break up with him if he didn’t tell the truth. Finally, he admitted that Xing Zhizhi hadn’t been sent to Australia for an exchange program but had taken a six-month leave. When he left, he didn’t disclose his destination, fearing Yu Zhecheng might accidentally let it slip.

Qin Fei then approached Xing Zhizhi’s sister, Xing Zhizu, to ask if something serious had happened. Qin Fei explained that Xing Zhizhi had told her he was going to Australia for two months, yet she found out he’d actually requested a six-month leave and went to Linkang County. Xing Zhizu assured Qin Fei that Xing Zhizhi hadn’t done anything to betray her, which eased her worries a bit.

Qin Fei clarified that she wasn’t suspecting Xing Zhizhi of anything disloyal, just that she was deeply concerned about him. With that, Qin Fei decided to go to Linkang County to find Xing Zhizhi and get some answers. Meanwhile, Xing Zhizhi learned that Xi Xi’s aunt and uncle wanted to renovate their guesthouse but had been delayed due to lack of funds. He offered to finance the project and turn it into a themed guesthouse.

Initially, Xi Xi’s aunt and uncle refused to accept his money, but eventually, Xing Zhizhi convinced them. Qin Fei became the first guest to stay at the newly renovated guesthouse. She booked her stay online under the name “Miss Yan,” and Xi Xi arranged for Xing Zhizhi to pick her up. Qin Fei arrived with her younger brother, Lu Yicheng, who felt nauseated from the bus ride and threw up by the roadside.

While recovering, he noticed Xing Zhizhi chatting and exchanging WeChat information with a woman nearby. Thinking he’d caught Xing Zhizhi red-handed, he was thrilled. But Xing Zhizhi was only introducing the guesthouse to the woman. When he turned around, he saw Qin Fei and Yicheng and learned that Qin Fei was “Miss Yan. ” Back at the guesthouse, Xi Xi ran up and hugged Qin Fei, saying how much she missed her.

Xing Zhizhi quickly realized Xi Xi had known Qin Fei was coming. Lu Yicheng, still distrusting Xing Zhizhi, believed he was scheming to deceive Qin Fei, which left Xing Zhizhi feeling exasperated. Xi Xi took Qin Fei on a tour of the guesthouse, which was quite empty, so Qin Fei posted about it on social media to spread the word. Meanwhile, Liu Yanze went to the movies with Li Xue, but he seemed distracted the whole time.

Sensing his lack of interest in her, Li Xue mentioned that Luo Xiaoxiao had taken care of him tirelessly during his days in a coma. She praised Luo Xiaoxiao’s character before saying goodbye to Liu Yanze. Later, Xing Zhizhi found Qin Fei and apologized to her. Qin Fei replied that she didn’t want an apology; she wanted to know what had really happened to him.

When he struggled to answer, Qin Fei said that since she was already there, she would figure it out on her own. Qin Fei then approached Xi Xi, asking her what Xing Zhizhi was actually doing there. Xi Xi admitted she didn’t know his exact intentions but shared that Xing Zhizhi had been keeping himself busy with work and never allowed himself any downtime. One day, Lu Yicheng, seeing some sheep tied up, decided to let them roam freely.

However, the sheep ended up trampling all over the grapes, destroying them. Qin Fei was furious with Yicheng’s mischievous behavior, but Xing Zhizhi reassured her, suggesting they could still gather the grapes to make jam. Xing Zhizhi taught Lu Yicheng how to make jam, and while he was busy, Qin Fei snuck into Xing Zhizhi’s room. She found a report on his desk, and, misinterpreting it, thought Xing Zhizhi had liver cancer.

Lu Yicheng then confided in Xing Zhizhi, explaining how stubborn his sister Qin Fei could be. Once she made a decision, nothing could sway her. He added that she wouldn’t like someone no matter what they did if she didn’t feel anything for them. Xing Zhizhi noted that Qin Fei had never mentioned having a brother, to which Yicheng, hurt, replied that even if Qin Fei didn’t like him, they were still family.

However, if Qin Fei and Xing Zhizhi broke up, they would no longer have any connection at all. After reading the report, Qin Fei confronted Xing Zhizhi, telling him she already knew about his illness. She assured him that, no matter what, she would stay by his side.
