Qin Fei disguised herself in a bear costume to sneak into the rehabilitation center to see Xing Zhizhi. Ka Fei gathered information about the hospital’s layout and informed Qin Fei of Xing Zhizhi’s location, encouraging her to bring the small cake she had made for him. On the way, some children saw the bear costume and wanted to interact, but Qin Fei insisted she was a princess bear, not just a bear, and declined to engage.

Unfortunately, Qin Fei tripped and dropped the cake, damaging it. At that moment, Xing Zhizhi spotted her and helped her up. Excited to see him, Qin Fei offered him the cake and gave him a hug, hoping it would cheer him up. As Qin Fei left and removed her costume, Dr. Ge Wu caught sight of her. She realized that Qin Fei must have learned about Xing Zhizhi from Ren Siqi. Furious, Dr.

Ge Wu confronted Ren Siqi, asking if he had turned off the surveillance cameras in the office and taken the business card to help Qin Fei find Xing Zhizhi. Ren Siqi admitted he had done it. Dr. Ge Wu argued that such actions wouldn't help Qin Fei; instead, they would endanger both Xing Zhizhi and Qin Fei. She expressed frustration over Ren Siqi's inability to change, from dating to marriage, now heading toward divorce. Dr.

Ge Wu stated she would revise the divorce agreement and send it to Ren Siqi’s email before leaving. While in the rehabilitation center, Xing Zhizhi often thought of Qin Fei and wanted to recover quickly. After some time, his condition hadn’t improved much. The doctor suggested increasing his medication dosage, which could have side effects like sluggishness and emotional numbness. Dr. Ge Wu reminded him, as a doctor himself, he should understand the risks involved.

Xing Zhizhi insisted he wanted to get better quickly because Qin Fei was waiting for him. After entering the second phase of increased medication, he felt emotionally stable. Xiao Jia hadn’t appeared again, but when Dr. Ge Wu informed him that he could be discharged to live normally, Xing Zhizhi didn’t display much emotional reaction. Dr. Ge Wu asked if something was bothering him, but Xing Zhizhi replied that he didn’t know; he felt stable but something felt off.

After being discharged, Xing Zhizhi went to the hospital to train. No matter how others chatted and joked around him, he remained unaffected. Yu Zhecheng remarked that Xing Zhizhi didn’t seem like he was on vacation but more like he was in training. Xing Zhizhi replied he could also undergo training. Yu Zhecheng mentioned his own progress, having become the youngest associate chief physician.

He had breakthroughs in his research and planned to propose to Ka Fei, hoping Xing Zhizhi could help. He took Xing Zhizhi to the bar where Xing Zhizhi had confessed to Qin Fei, asking him to teach him how to sing the song he had sung back then. However, when Xing Zhizhi sang, his emotion was flat and distant. Yu Zhecheng encouraged him to invest more feeling into his performance.

Realizing what was wrong, Xing Zhizhi acknowledged that the medication was causing him emotional numbness. Qin Fei knew Xing Zhizhi had been discharged but was confused when he didn’t come to find her. Ka Fei reassured her, having seen Yu Zhecheng on a video call, that he was likely preparing a surprise for Qin Fei, possibly after the Zhongkun Dance Troupe's performance. The performance began, but Qin Fei still waited for Xing Zhizhi, who didn’t show up.

Luo Xiaoxiao comforted her, saying that Xing Zhizhi would surely give her a big surprise later. Xing Zhizhi struggled with how to face Qin Fei. He didn’t answer her calls and reflected on her words about wanting him to propose after he recovered. He brought flowers to see Qin Fei, and she was thrilled to see him. She asked why he hadn’t answered her calls earlier.

Xing Zhizhi showed her a video of himself at her performance, and she realized he had arrived early. Curious if there were any other surprises besides congratulating her on a successful show, he revealed that he wanted to take her home to meet his parents. To prepare for meeting his parents, Qin Fei visited a salon for a hairstyle, explaining it was for her boyfriend’s family. The salon manager recommended a premium package that would meet her needs.

Another woman in the shop mentioned she was getting the same package because her son was bringing his girlfriend home for dinner. However, the hairstyle didn’t turn out as planned, and Qin Fei ended up with an outrageous hairstyle. She informed Xing Zhizhi that she couldn’t accompany him to meet his parents. Xing Zhizhi reassured her that it was her as a person his parents would be meeting, not her hairstyle. He told her not to worry, as he was certain about her, and suggested she wear a hat when they went to his parents' house.
