Ji Tan Yin saw the blood on her hands and anxiously searched everywhere for Yuan Zhong. Ji Tan Yin slowly walked to the door, and when she opened it, Yuan Zhong, A Xue, and Qian Lin came into view. The three of them were full of joy. A Xue complained that when Ji Tan Yin was ill before, she had called a doctor, and the doctor had pronounced Ji Tan Yin dead and even advised preparations for her funeral. A Xue didn’t believe it and had a huge argument with the doctor.

Ji Tan Yin had a lot to say to Yuan Zhong, but A Xue kept hanging around like a third wheel. Ji Tan Yin used her love for tangtang cake as an excuse to send A Xue away. A Xue understood Ji Tan Yin’s intention and gave them space to be alone. Only Yuan Zhong and Ji Tan Yin remained in the room.

Ji Tan Yin calmly admitted that her past tests and confrontations with Yuan Zhong were wrong and hoped he wouldn't be angry or let it create distance between them. Yuan Zhong didn’t take it to heart. Instead, he discussed the beauty of the mountains and rivers with her and expressed his desire to travel together with Ji Tan Yin to see different sceneries. Ji Tan Yin was deeply moved and embraced him.

Han Nv was keeping watch over Taihe Divine Lord when she noticed something unusual—his physical form began to disintegrate. No matter how she tried to control it with spells, nothing worked. A Xue’s innocent joy deeply influenced the other three, especially Qian Lin. Tang Hua’s injuries had improved. Though he was originally planning to leave, he decided to stay at the city lord’s manor for a day or two to continue his investigation. Zhi Dai hadn’t wanted him to leave in the first place, so when she heard he was staying longer, she was overjoyed and even believed Tang Hua was staying because of her.

That night, Yuan Zhong and Ji Tan Yin whispered together in their room. Yuan Zhong cherished these happy moments and was afraid of losing Ji Tan Yin. Meanwhile, Li Zhaoyang had successfully led her clan through training and achieved the perfect War Demon form, now preparing to seek revenge against Yuan Zhong. Tang Hua took advantage of the night to investigate and was spotted by Zhi Dai from inside the room. Mistaking him for an assassin, she followed him.

Tang Hua entered Zhi Yue’s study, which confused Zhi Dai about his intentions. Inside the room, Tang Hua discovered a hidden compartment and found the Wu Shuang Order—Zhi Yue was the mastermind behind the Wu Shuang Society. Yuan Zhong repaired Qian Lin’s divine technique source, and Han Nv sealed the Ascension Platform, cutting off Ji Tan Yin’s connection with the divine realm.

Zhi Dai confronted Zhi Yue and tried to persuade him to confess to their father, but Zhi Yue, full of ambition, refused to admit he had done anything wrong.
