Shi Yan received a refund message, and Qin Shi Yue informed him that Zheng Shuyi had returned the clothes she bought. Qin Shi Yue also mentioned that Zheng Shuyi was on a business trip in Wucheng. Bi Ruoshan, who was also on a business trip to Wucheng, initially intended to meet with Guan Ji. However, Bi Ruoshan declined, claiming she wasn't in Jiang City, and she hung up on Guan Ji, leaving him very frustrated.

Guan Xiangcheng saw Zheng Shuyi's previous interview with Shi Yan and praised her writing skills. Shi Yan checked Zheng Shuyi's social media and took the initiative to contact her. He also mentioned that Guan Xiangcheng wanted to meet her. The car she was in had a battery issue, and it happened to be a product of Zhanlan Technology. Xu Yuling contacted the vice presidents of three banks for an interview and wanted Tang Yi to give her the headline for this month. Tang Yi soon learned about Zheng Shuyi's interview with Guan Xiangcheng. She called Guan Xiangcheng to ask why he had agreed to the interview with "Cai Jing Jie," to which he replied that he admired Zheng Shuyi's sharp writing skills, which prompted him to arrange a meeting.

During the interview at Guan Xiangcheng's home, Zheng Shuyi and Guan Xiangcheng had an engaging conversation, losing track of time. Eventually, Shi Yan reminded them to have dinner together. During the meal, Zheng Shuyi learned from Guan Xiangcheng about Shi Yan's childhood interest in horseback riding, which allowed her to inquire more about Shi Yan's past. Guan Xiangcheng was very knowledgeable about Shi Yan, knowing that he was someone who kept everything to himself. After the Mingyu incident, Shi Yan had taken care of everything before starting Yun Chuang and handing the company over to his brother-in-law. In fact, Shi Yan had sacrificed more than anyone else. Guan Xiangcheng also advised Zheng Shuyi that Shi Yan was not a talkative person, suggesting she chat with him more.

During the conversation, Zheng Shuyi playfully brought up how Shi Yan had been staring at a beautiful female reporter during Yun Chuang's product launch. Shi Yan explained that he was just teasing Zheng Shuyi, and she had to playfully ask him to help peel the shrimp for her. However, Shi Yan declined, so Zheng Shuyi ended up peeling the shrimp herself and feeding it to him, which made Shi Yan very happy.

After the meal, Zheng Shuyi mentioned that she had prepared a special feature proposal for Yun Chuang. Seeing Zheng Shuyi intentionally trying to gain sympathy in front of him, Shi Yan agreed to let her conduct a special interview for Yun Chuang but also laid out some conditions. Zheng Shuyi, seeing her wish fulfilled, agreed to all the terms.

The old shareholders of Yun Chuang were highly in favor of investing in Zhanlan Technology. Due to issues with accidents involving new energy vehicles, there was a risk in investing in solid-state batteries. Shi Yan believed that substantial research and reports were necessary for this investment in the solid-state battery industry. He pointed out that although Zhanlan had a significant market share, they were still using last year's technology for their batteries, and there had been no updates. If accident rates became high in the future, investing in Zhanlan might not be a safe choice.
