At Xaguang Temple, Zheng Shuyi drew a fortune slip and the person interpreting it told her that her destined one had arrived, urging her to give her heart wholeheartedly.

After visiting the attractions, Zheng Shuyi and Shi Yan went to a noodle shop for a meal. Qin Shiyue, who was bored due to overtime work, contacted Shi Yan to vent her frustrations. She also asked him to bring a souvenir from Ancheng. Zheng Shuyi learned that Shi Yan's niece was chatting with him, and she silently complained that kids from wealthy families wanted everything, even other people's things. The next day, Shi Yan visited Zhanlan Technology Company for research, and Zheng Shuyi, as his special assistant, accompanied him. Shi Yan explained that he personally came because Yun Chuang valued their investment in Zhanlan. He inquired about General Jiang's knowledge of the Hengxin New Energy Vehicle accident, but General Jiang pretended not to know and blamed the accident on driver error, completely ruling out any issues with the batteries. Seeing that General Jiang was unwilling to discuss the reasons behind the new energy vehicle accident, Shi Yan had to end the conversation. General Jiang advised Shi Yan to give up on Zhanlan and think of a way to explain it to the old shareholders. Zheng Shuyi couldn't bear to watch and retorted, criticizing General Jiang and Zhanlan for not addressing the product issues and instead choosing to sweep them under the rug. Zheng Shuyi used to admire General Jiang before coming here, but she was now very disappointed with both him and Zhanlan.

On the way back, Zheng Shuyi regretted her hasty criticism of General Jiang and was worried that it might ruin the cooperation between Yun Chuang and Zhanlan. Shi Yan understood Zheng Shuyi's concerns and stated that he could accept products that were not perfect, but he couldn't accept an attitude of avoidance toward problems. Investing in Zhanlan carried too much risk, and he could use Zheng Shuyi's words to explain to the shareholders when he returned.
