Zheng Shuyi expressed that getting close to Shi Yan initially was for an interview, but upon getting to know him, she found Shi Yan to be both attractive and talented, naturally feeling drawn to him. Shi Yan understood that Zheng Shuyi had some reservations about him but was willing to wait for her to open up. Bi Ruoshan also enjoyed herself at the horse ranch and, in order to create an opportunity for Zheng Shuyi and Shi Yan, asked Shi Yan to take Zheng Shuyi home and Guan Ji to take her home.

Guan Xiangcheng and Tang Yi were wine tasting at the vineyard. Guan Xiangcheng believed that they had moved past the age of love at first sight and that being together now was a rational and emotionally driven choice. He wanted to build a future life with Tang Yi, but Tang Yi, being unmarried and lacking much relationship experience, lacked confidence in her future. Guan Xiangcheng reassured Tang Yi that her concerns were not an issue and encouraged them to learn from Shi Yan and Shuyi, openly expressing their feelings without overthinking.

Yu You's mother asked him about his feelings toward Zheng Shuyi, Wang Aiyi's daughter. She believed that if both of them had mutual feelings, it would be beneficial to accelerate the progress of their relationship. Seeing that her son did not refuse, Yu You's mother thought he had a favorable impression of Zheng Shuyi and encouraged him to pursue her.

Tang Yi called Zheng Shuyi to inquire about her romantic relationship with Shi Yan. Since Zheng Shuyi and Shi Yan hadn't defined their relationship, she had to explain that they were not in a romantic relationship. Qin Shiyue, upon seeing Shi Yan's troubled expression, asked about his relationship issues. Learning that someone might be deceiving Shi Yan, Qin Shiyue suggested that the person either didn't love him or loved him too much. Since the other person was unwilling to let his nephew know certain things, it probably meant caring about his nephew's opinion.

Guan Xiangcheng initially wanted to introduce Guan Ji to Tang Yi but later decided to wait until Tang Yi was willing to meet the family. Guan Ji joked that his father was the backup plan for a future stepmother. Guan Xiangcheng explained that Tang Yi had her concerns, and he respected her, willing to wait for her response. Guan Ji hoped his father could be with the person he loved and supported him in bravely pursuing love.

Shi Yan, accompanied by Guan Ji and Yu You, inspected a new company, Aggregation Battery Company. After meeting with the company's leaders, Cheng Xing and Hao Wangshu, and touring the company, they realized that Aggregation Battery Company invested 70-80% of its energy and profits into technology, causing its market share to struggle. Shi Yan was impressed by the company and believed that focusing on technological advancement was crucial for success.

Zheng Shuyi's mother pressured her about her relationship with Yu You. Zheng Shuyi had to explain that she already had a boyfriend, but her mother didn't believe her and demanded pictures. Zheng Shuyi sent a photo of Shi Yan, but her mother, being aware of Shi Yan online, thought Zheng Shuyi was deliberately using a photo of a financial businessman found online to deceive her. She threatened Zheng Shuyi to meet Yu You this weekend.

Due to her mother's threat, Zheng Shuyi had to arrange to meet Yu You for dinner on the weekend. Qin Shiyue, learning that Zheng Shuyi was pressured by her mother to get married, investigated and found out that her blind date was a finance professor at the university, thinking it was a suitable match for Yu You. Since Zheng Shuyi had no feelings for Yu You, she invited Qin Shiyue to join them for dinner. Qin Shiyue, upon arriving at the restaurant, discovered that Zheng Shuyi's blind date was none other than Yu You, whom she secretly liked.

Zheng Shuyi explained that the dinner with Yu You was due to her mother's pressure, and she emphasized that she was still young and not in a hurry to get married. Yu You understood Zheng Shuyi's perspective, saying he was busy with work and not ready to invest in a relationship. Qin Shiyue, seeing Yu You and Zheng Shuyi chatting happily, silently criticized Yu You for having nothing to say to her.

Qin Shiyue didn't go home for dinner, and Shi Yan's father called to inquire. Unexpectedly, Shi Yan learned from Qin Shiyue that Zheng Shuyi was currently on a blind date. Seizing the opportunity while Zheng Shuyi went to the restroom, Qin Shiyue asked Yu You if he liked Zheng Shuyi. Yu You said he appreciated Zheng Shuyi as a person but currently, Zheng Shuyi had no feelings for him. He intended to try and build a friendship with her. Zheng Shuyi's mother arranged for her to visit an exhibition with Yu You next week. Initially wanting to refuse, Zheng Shuyi, under Qin Shiyue's persuasion, decided to invite Yu You and Qin Shiyue to the exhibition together.

On the way back home, Yu You asked Zheng Shuyi if she had someone unattainable in her heart. He suggested that, for the sake of their families, they could explain that they were still in the getting-to-know-each-other stage. Zheng Shuyi approved of this plan. As Zheng Shuyi said goodbye to Yu You downstairs, she unexpectedly ran into Shi Yan. She explained that today was just dinner with an old friend, denying the blind date. Jealous about Zheng Shuyi's blind date, Shi Yan decisively kissed her to express his feelings and asked her to accompany him to work next weekend, leaving Zheng Shuyi disappointed that Shi Yan wasn't thinking about a date with her.
