Back for You Episode 10 Recap
> Back for You Recap
Da Bing met a female guest named Man Man, who found him endearing and somewhat interesting. Da Bing was attracted to Man Man's beauty. Da Bing's father noticed something strange between the two and warned Da Bing not to make friends casually, advising him not to trust anyone since they were all insincere, given their differing statuses. Da Bing, however, no longer wanted to be controlled by his father, so he began to resist.
His father, unable to stay in the current place, wanted to take Da Bing and leave. They happened to meet an old acquaintance who mentioned Da Bing's mother, which made Da Bing realize that his father had never spoken about his mother. He kept asking about her, but his father drugged his milk, and Da Bing fell asleep, dreaming that it was his father who had killed his mother.
The next day, Da Bing found out that the acquaintance he had spoken to the day before had also been killed by his father. In a panic, Da Bing wanted to report it to the police. He ran into Man Man, and in his hurry, he dragged her into a room. Fearing that his father might kill Man Man as well, neither of them dared to make a sound.
However, Da Bing’s father still managed to break down the door and killed Man Man. But none of these things were actually done by Da Bing’s father. After being humiliated by a customer, Da Bing, upset, decided to leave the hotel. His father tried to keep him there, and during a struggle on the road, they didn’t notice an approaching car. To protect Da Bing, his father pushed him away but ended up getting hit by the car.
This incident triggered a psychological break in Da Bing, and since then, he developed two personalities—one being Da Bing, and the other being his father. The customer with the gold watch, his colleague A Long, and Man Man were all killed by Da Bing. His fantasies about Man Man liking him were all false; Man Man had been playing him the whole time.
So, Da Bing bound her, forced her to confess that she liked him and kiss him, before killing her. As for his mother, she was not killed by his father—she had simply abandoned Da Bing and his father and left. Da Bing wanted revenge because it was A Lai, the police officer who had arrested him years ago, and it was Lu Na, the one who had provided the story’s clues.
To save Lu Na, A Lai fought fiercely with Da Bing. During the struggle, a lighter fell out, which triggered a memory for Lu Na. She remembered that it was because of the lighter that she had traveled back 29 years in time. Seizing the opportunity, she picked up the lighter and pressed it. It seemed as if Da Bing was burned by the fire and then disappeared.
Lu Na and A Lai, carrying the newspaper, traveled back to the Old Friend Hotel 20 years ago. They overheard Man Man’s cries for help. Lu Na urged A Lai to rescue her. During the struggle, Da Bing took a young girl hostage. A Lai first calmed Da Bing down, and while Da Bing was distracted, A Lai managed to subdue him. Fortunately, other police officers arrived just in time to arrest Da Bing.
It was A Jia who had led the officers to make the arrest. Seeing this, A Lai quickly took Lu Na and left. The young girl who had been held hostage was rescued. She found the lighter on the ground and picked it up. However, A Lai had left too quickly, and she didn’t have time to give it to him. This young girl was Lu Na from 20 years ago. Back then, she didn’t have her pen name and was still called Man Ru.
