A Lai discovered a new story. The protagonist was a man named Yuan San, who was obsessed with reading science fiction novels. He often dreamed that he was trapped in a white room, where he could hear voices bullying him. Concerned about his condition, his family sent him for psychological treatment. After a period of hypnosis therapy, Yuan San's condition improved, and he seemed to have escaped from the white room. However, Yuan San possessed the ability of teleportation.

Whenever he wore his pocket watch, he could instantly move to another location. The problem was that his destination was random—he would sometimes appear in other people's pools, but no one could see him. Yuan San had no control over his teleportation. One day, he unintentionally teleported into his neighbor’s house. His field of vision was limited, and he saw a girl changing a light bulb. Mistakenly thinking she was attempting suicide, he suddenly woke up in his own home.

Alarmed, he ran to his neighbor’s house to save her. However, when he forcefully opened the door, he realized it was all a misunderstanding. His neighbor, Michelle, was a beautiful ballet dancer. She assumed Yuan San had been spying on her—otherwise, how would he have known she was changing a light bulb? When Yuan San tried to explain his teleportation ability, Michelle thought he was mentally unstable. Yuan San fell in love with Michelle.

Determined to teleport accurately to her home, he practiced tirelessly until he finally succeeded. Now able to control his ability, he often visited Michelle’s home. One day, he watched Michelle celebrate her birthday with her friends. Her birthday wish was for it to snow soon. Wanting to fulfill her wish, Yuan San worked hard at home to invent a small machine that, when activated, released countless cotton-like flakes, resembling snowfall.

However, Michelle mistakenly believed the gift was from her upstairs neighbor, Allen, because the card attached to it bore his name. She went upstairs to thank him, but Allen refused to let her in and denied giving her any gift. Michelle, however, insisted it was from him. Embarrassed, Allen pushed the door slightly open, and at that moment, Michelle saw a woman lying on the sofa, covered in blood. Terrified, Michelle ran back to her apartment, but Allen chased after her.

He broke into her home, intent on killing her because she had seen something she shouldn’t have. At that critical moment, Yuan San teleported into Michelle’s apartment. He saw Allen attacking Michelle but was unable to stop it immediately. In a panic, he teleported back home, grabbed a fruit knife, and rushed back to Michelle’s place, stabbing Allen multiple times. However, Michelle didn’t see Yuan San as her savior. Instead, she screamed, accusing him of being a murderer.

Through the illustrations in the comic, A Lai identified the building where the incident was taking place. He rushed over and saw Yuan San chasing both Michelle and Allen. A Lai quickly subdued Yuan San and took him back to the police station. In reality, Yuan San never had the ability to teleport. He was deeply isolated, had no friends, and spent his days observing the people in the opposite building through a telescope.

Everything he believed had only existed in his imagination. Allen and Michelle were merely rehearsing for a stage play when Yuan San mistakenly thought Michelle was in danger. Acting on his delusion, he broke in to "save" her, ultimately attacking Allen. In truth, neither Michelle nor Allen had ever met him before.
