Yan Hui felt heartbroken for Tian Yao's self-tormented life over the years. She repeatedly reminded Tian Yao that he was not at fault, but Tian Yao insisted that he had brought the disaster upon himself, leading to the tragic death of the Dragon Valley elf, and he refused to forgive himself no matter what. Yan Hui bravely told Tian Yao that she was deeply saddened by his behavior and confessed her feelings to him. Tian Yao wanted to respond to Yan Hui but lacked the courage. He reluctantly lowered his hand that he had just raised and cruelly rejected Yan Hui. However, Yan Hui was not discouraged. Learning that Tian Yao had no heart, she made a heart shape with her hands and sent it to Tian Yao, promising to bring him a real heart in the future. Tian Yao still refused to accept Yan Hui's gesture and turned away, leaving.

Only the Illusion King and Huan Xiaoyan were left from the Illusion Demon Clan. The rest of the clan had been wiped out by the master of the dark energy, who had created a powerful illusion formation to guard the entrance. The Illusion King's destiny was nearing its end, and he was about to disappear. Before his disappearance, he entrusted the Illusion Clan ring to Huan Xiaoyan, hoping that she would carry on the legacy of the Illusion Clan.

In order to ensure Lu Musheng's immortality, Su Ying left to find the Heart-Protecting Scale once again. To prevent Lu Musheng from self-harm, she bound him with her spiritual power before departing.

Su Ying wanted to find the Heart-Protecting Scale, but her subordinates had no trace of Tian Yao. However, Su Ying had already placed a tracking spell on the Dragon Horn, and with a simple calculation, she knew that Tian Yao was in the Dragon Valley of Luochuan. Immediately, she rushed to the Dragon Valley and killed a small elf in front of Tian Yao, then captured the other small elves, demanding that Tian Yao hand over the Heart-Protecting Scale. Otherwise, she would kill one person every hour.

Bai Xiaosheng, along with Huan Xiaoyan, drugged Yan Hui, intending to take her to Qingqiu and lure Tian Yao there. Unexpectedly, Su Ying suddenly arrived and injured Tian Yao. Sensing Tian Yao's danger through the Heart-Protecting Scale, Yan Hui immediately rushed back to the Dragon Valley. Tian Yao inserted the Chi Yan Long Ya into Yan Hui's heart, hoping to retrieve the Heart-Protecting Scale and save the elves. He could only endure the pain in his heart as he did so. Yan Hui lost the Heart-Protecting Scale and fell to the ground like a fallen leaf, tears streaming from her eyes.

Ling Xiao finally stabilized the seal that allowed him to unlock the stars. Sensing that the seal on the Heart-Protecting Scale had been broken, he knew that Yan Hui was in trouble and immediately rushed over.
