Triple Mountain, Pu Fang was captured by Ling Fei, who intended to kill her. Xian Feng quickly pleaded, hoping that Pu Fang would prioritize the overall situation and not provoke a large-scale war between Xuanmen and the Demon Realm. Ling Fei insisted on his own course of action, and Pu Fang fought back using the method of sacrificing both parties. However, two fists were no match for four hands, but luckily Yan Hui stepped in to protect Pu Fang. Ling Fei, not seeing Tian Yao, disregarded Yan Hui and ordered to capture her as well. Tian Yao hurriedly arrived and not only repelled the disciples of Chen Xing Mountain but also cut Ling Fei's face. This greatly annoyed Ling Fei, who couldn't catch Tian Yao. He redirected his anger towards Xian Feng and ordered him to be closely guarded.

Pu Fang was seriously injured, and despite Yan Hui's timely intervention, she couldn't stop Pu Fang's bleeding. Xian Feng, aware of Pu Fang's condition, risked his life to save her. Xian Feng sought redemption in front of Pu Fang's grave, severing his own meridians and fading away while embracing Pu Fang in the wind.

Bai Xiaosheng faced the mighty Fu Yin without fear because he was the shadow under the light. Fu Yin used his true body to create a black robe that could withstand all damage in the world, and he dared not kill Bai Xiaosheng. Fu Yin, being a shadow of the human heart, excelled at understanding the weaknesses of people's hearts and used these vulnerabilities to control them. Fortunately, Yan Hui found Bai Xiaosheng and freed him from fear. Bai Xiaosheng summoned his weapon and attacked Fu Yin, but to his surprise, Fu Yin's dark energy did not diminish at all. This greatly astonished Bai Xiaosheng. Fu Yin arrogantly revealed that Chang Lan's sacrifice opened a slight crack in his hand, which could snatch the stars, and compared to the black energy Bai Xiaosheng severed, the quantities were not on the same level. So, Fu Yin submerged Bai Xiaosheng in black water to show him how he would torment Yan Hui.

Many sects in Xuanmen chose to withdraw their troops, seeing the relationship between Xuanmen and the Demon Realm easing. The disciples of Chen Xing Mountain were also happy and ready to return to their sect. However, Ling Fei intercepted them, using his status as an elder of the disciplinary hall to forcibly demand that the disciples stay. Zhou Zichen, learning that Xian Feng's sea of consciousness had been disabled and his whereabouts were unknown, hated Ling Fei and firmly protected the disciples, allowing them to return to Chen Xing Mountain while he went to find Xian Feng.

Seeing that no one paid attention to her, Ling Fei felt particularly unhappy. Yun Meng took the initiative to approach Ling Fei, claiming to have found the bracelet that Su Ying made for Lu Musheng using nine spirits' power. Unexpectedly, Yun Meng directly revealed that they had cooperated twenty years ago to kill Tian Yao, and now that Tian Yao was not dead, their collaboration had not ended. Su Ying never collaborated with demons and attacked Yun Meng. Yun Meng turned into black energy, revealing that she was sent by Fu Yin. Fu Yin predicted that Su Ying had desires and obsessions and would eventually stand by his side.

After Su Ying woke up, she immediately asked about the whereabouts of Lu Musheng and Tian Yao. Learning that Tian Yao came to Triple Mountain to take the Dragon Tendon, she made a prompt decision. Just as Tian Yao was about to enter the formation, Su Ying appeared and pressed him for the whereabouts of Lu Musheng. In order to ensure Lu Musheng's peace in the future, Tian Yao lied to Su Ying, claiming that he had already killed Lu Musheng himself. This enraged Su Ying, who immediately attacked. She first forced Tian Yao into the formation and then attempted to kill Yan Hui, who was maintaining the entrance of the formation. However, Ling Xiao arrived just in time and saved Yan Hui. When Ling Xiao learned that the protective scale had returned to Yan Hui, his emotions became complicated. He forcibly took Yan Hui back to the Yundun Star Platform. Su Ying, using the fact that Yan Hui practiced demonic techniques, demanded that Ling Xiao kill Yan Hui. Ling Xiao remembered Qing Guang's words that destroying the protective scale would bring peace to the Xuan Realm, so he summoned the Fragmented Soul Whip to shatter Yan Hui's sea of consciousness and destroy the protective scale. However, after striking nine times, he found it difficult to continue.
