After teaching Tian Yao many words, Yan Hui goes to tell Chen Yi the good news. When Chen Yi speaks, Tian Yao imitates her, which astonishes Chen Yi at Tian Yao's progress.

Zhu Li asks Mr. Yan to write a marriage proposal to Huan Xiaoyan. Xian Ge is pregnant. Tian Yao's recovery is expected soon. These three happy events bring joy to everyone, and they all go to the Forgetful Tower to celebrate. Feng Qianshuo is no longer worried about the safety of Qingqiu and has moved the Forgetful Tower out of the illusion formation. It is now located in the bustling city. Tian Yao looks at Yan Hui with clear eyes, listening to her talk about her hometown. When Yan Hui mentions Long Valley and Tongluo Village, Tian Yao inexplicably shows signs of homesickness. During the feast, Tian Yao, who is drinking for the first time, drinks cup after cup without getting drunk. He finds the wine particularly delicious. Yan Hui worries that it might be harmful for the young Tian Yao to drink, but Xian Ge assures them that the wine is nourishing. Everyone makes three wishes while they are in a joyful mood. Zhu Li wishes to grow old with Huan Xiaoyan, Feng Qianshuo wishes for the safe birth of his child, and Yan Hui hopes to have this day every year and this moment every age. Xian Ge can sense the emotions of the child in her belly, which piques the curiosity of Huan Xiaoyan and Yan Hui. So the three of them enter the room together to listen to the sounds coming from Xian Ge's belly. Xian Ge unexpectedly notices that Yan Hui's hand is burned and asks for the reason. She learns that Tian Yao's dragon energy is incompatible with Yan Hui's dark energy, and even the slightest touch from Yan Hui causes her harm. Xian Ge feels sorry for Yan Hui but is already satisfied to see Tian Yao alive and decides to address the issue later.

After drinking too much, Zhu Li and Feng Qianshuo forget that Tian Yao is a newborn dragon. They talk about their past love and conflicts with Yan Hui, who were in love but hurt each other. Tian Yao once offered all his wealth just to see Yan Hui smile, but he also stabbed her twice. These past actions make Tian Yao feel guilty, so when he is alone with Yan Hui, he asks her about the truth of these events. Yan Hui comforts Tian Yao, acknowledging that he did stab her, but it was his way of self-protection against the world.

Yan Hui takes Tian Yao to Tongluo Village, which is within the territory of Xuanmen. Ling Xiao Zhenren is worried about their safety and intends to accompany them, but both Yan Hui and Tian Yao refuse his presence. They even reject the fruits Ling Xiao brings. Regardless of their objections, Ling Xiao silently follows them. One day, Yan Hui teaches Tian Yao the cultivation method of Chenxing Mountain, but halfway through, she loses confidence and suspects that she made a mistake. She hesitates to seek guidance from Ling Xiao. Ling Xiao has heard Yan Hui's words clearly and feels helpless seeing her achieve such a level after ten years in Chenxing Mountain. Following Ling Xiao's plan, Yan Hui deliberately places the bamboo raft in a less frequented area between the realms of Xuan and Yao, hoping to give Yan Hui and Tian Yao a farewell. However, Yan Hui refuses this gesture and uses her dark energy to take Tian Yao far away. Seeing this, Yan Hui quickly remarks that Ling Xiao's intention to bid farewell is like sending them off only partway, and this comment irritates the usually indifferent Ling Xiao.

After crossing the Black River, Tian Yao is delighted to have left Ling Xiao, whom he dislikes, behind. The scenery along the way is beautiful, but Yan Hui feels uncomfortable because her hand is severely burned and can only use her other hand to hold Tian Yao's hand. Tian Yao is unaware of Yan Hui's pain and happily continues to move forward, pulling Yan Hui along.

Ling Fei secretly sets up a formation within Guang Han Men to kill fellow disciples. Su Ying catches her in the act and instead of remorse, Ling Fei laughs manically, saying that her sea of knowledge has been destroyed and she can no longer cultivate. She has now learned Fu Yin's cultivation method and intends to practice it well. Ling Fei resents Su Ying for always being stronger than her but owes her life to Su Ying's cultivation method and skills. She thought Su Ying wouldn't kill her out of sisterly love, but Su Ying, unwilling to let Ling Fei be controlled by dark energy, directly stabs her in the heart.
