Tian Yao had just awakened from his slumber and wanted to find Yan Hui, but instead, Ling Xiao was sitting by his bedside. Ling Xiao wanted to know how Tian Yao could use his weapon so quickly. He learned that Tian Yao saw Achacha, who was controlled by black energy, about to attack Yan Hui. Tian Yao immediately summoned the Chi Yan Long Ya, praising Tian Yao for protecting Yan Hui even without his memories. Tian Yao knew that Ling Xiao cared about the people, but as long as he had Yan Hui, he would ensure her safety, which pleased Ling Xiao greatly.

Achacha came to Qi Yun to find Yan Hui, and when he saw her, he was overjoyed. When Yan Hui asked about their past, he could only remember that they lived in a cave together with the protection of Tian Yao's Dragon Bone Cave and that Qi Yun's illness had improved but had no recollection of what happened after being affected by black energy. Tian Yao also didn't remember Achacha and quietly asked Yan Hui why Achacha appeared so foolish. Achacha had been greeting Tian Yao, but Tian Yao didn't respond. Fortunately, Yan Hui quickly stopped him and suggested that they first cure Qi Yun before making any decisions.

The cave that sealed the Dragon Bone still contained dragon energy, making it the best place to perform the spell. Tian Yao, Yan Hui, Achacha, Qi Yun, and Ling Xiao went to the cave together. Tian Yao confirmed the presence of dragon energy and began casting the spell. However, the spell didn't go smoothly. On the first attempt, it didn't reach the heart, and on the second attempt, it triggered the deadly curse of Fu Yin. By the time Qi Yun and the others regained consciousness, it was already too late. Qi Yun knew that her time was limited and entrusted Ling Xiao with finding Qi Linglong's body and bringing forth Linglong's spirit. Reluctantly, she bid farewell to Achacha. Achacha was devastated by the fact that removing the Frost Flower Art would lead to Qi Yun's death. Yan Hui immediately tried to save Qi Yun by absorbing Fu Yin's death energy, but she ended up feeling unwell due to absorbing too much black energy and began vomiting uncontrollably. Tian Yao comforted Yan Hui by patting her back and felt guilty for his past attempt on her life. Ling Xiao was worried about Yan Hui and entered her sea of consciousness to observe. He discovered that although there was a lot of black energy in her sea of consciousness, it was surprisingly calm and shouldn't pose a problem. This phenomenon shocked Ling Xiao because he himself had only a strand of black energy, which he struggled to suppress and couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't make any mistakes. Yan Hui immediately absorbed Ling Xiao's black energy, greatly moving Ling Xiao, who was concerned about her well-being. Now that the situation was clear and everyone knew that Fu Yin was behind everything, they unanimously decided to use their powers to defeat Fu Yin. Ling Xiao initially wanted to accompany Tian Yao and Yan Hui to retrieve the Dragon Heart, but since their techniques had already matured, Yan Hui suggested that Ling Xiao return to guard Shou Ke Zhai Xing Chen (Hand Can Pick the Stars). Ling Xiao knew that Tian Yao's fire seed was effective in strengthening Shou Ke Zhai Xing Chen, so he asked Tian Yao for his fire seed. For this move, Ling Xiao had already taught Tian Yao how to obtain the fire seed. Yan Hui couldn't help but sigh at Ling Xiao's careful consideration and felt exhausted for him. However, Ling Xiao always prioritized the greater good of the world. He assured Yan Hui that he would do his best to protect Shou Ke Zhai Xing Chen and buy them more time.

Although Qi Yun had lost her techniques, she wanted to gather like-minded individuals to resist Fu Yin and embarked on the path back to Qi Yun Temple. Achacha was deeply reluctant and caught up with Qi Yun, thinking that she despised him, but he soon realized that she only wanted to keep him out of harm's way. Achacha had long harbored deep feelings for Qi Yun during these twenty years, and the same was true for Qi Yun. Seeing that Achacha was willing to embark on this adventure with her, Qi Yun happily took him along.

Ling Xiao was about to leave, and Yan Hui had several times wanted to call him "Master," but the words couldn't leave her mouth, so she could only bid him to take care. Tian Yao noticed Ling Xiao's anticipation and Yan Hui's reluctance, and he asked Yan Hui why she couldn't bring herself to call him "Master." Yan Hui explained that their previous conflicts had been so severe, and it had only been a few days since they reconciled, so she couldn't easily change her mindset. However, she promised that the next time they met, she would definitely address Ling Xiao as "Master." Yan Hui couldn't help but shed tears of heartache.

At the grave of Old Lady Xiao, Tian Yao listened to Yan Hui recounting the past and remembered the care Old Lady Xiao had shown him. He also recalled how he once wanted to kill Yan Hui at this very spot and couldn't help but feel tortured by it. Yan Hui told Tian Yao that she understood everything and that now both she and the world needed Tian Yao to regain his memories.
