Bai Shuo, along with Fan Yue and Zhong Zhao, rushed just in time to rescue Fu Ling and Lao Gui. She instructed Zhong Zhao and Fu Ling to take Lao Gui away first while she and Fan Yue stayed behind to engage in a fierce battle with Luan Zhu. Overcome with sorrow, Luan Zhu revealed that Bai Shuo bore the divine essence of the Stars and Moon.

Six thousand years ago, during the Divine War, Bai Shuo personally killed Jing Yuan, which was why Luan Zhu harbored such hatred for her. She accused Bai Shuo of achieving her divine might by stepping over countless corpses. Despite Luan Zhu’s accusations, Fan Yue firmly stated that the grudges and entanglements of six thousand years ago between Jing Yuan and the Stars and Moon had nothing to do with him.

Furious, Luan Zhu accused Fan Yue of being heartless and reclaimed the divine power she had bestowed upon the puppets in Bodhi Village, intending to trap Bai Shuo and Fan Yue. At the critical moment, Bai Shuo used her blood to enhance Fan Yue’s demon power, allowing him to defeat and ultimately kill Luan Zhu.

That night, Zhen Yu visited the Lanling Sect to meet Jin Yao, handing him a new map of the Demon Race’s territories and urging him to continue exterminating demons. Zhen Yu promised that from then on, Jin Yao would truly become the number one figure among the Eternal Sects. Tempted by fame and fortune, Jin Yao briefly enjoyed the prospect before sensing a sudden depletion in spiritual energy, realizing something had likely happened to Luan Zhu.

Meanwhile, Bai Shuo used her powers to save Lao Gui, who eventually regained consciousness. Gravely injured by Luan Zhu, Lao Gui’s condition was beyond the help of medicine. Before his death, he revealed Jin Yao’s crimes and admitted that his own prophecy to Zhen Yu had caused the tragedy of the Bai family and the Bai Ze clan. As his life ebbed away, Lao Gui gave Bai Shuo his thousand-year-old turtle shell to help her refine a supreme-grade pill.

Shortly after, his soul dissipated. After Lao Gui’s death, Bai Shuo sat outside alone, grieving. Fan Yue comforted her, saying she had done her best and encouraged her to take action on anything she still wanted to accomplish so as not to leave any regrets. Motivated by Fan Yue’s words, Bai Shuo sought out Fu Ling. With a heartfelt conversation, Bai Shuo moved Fu Ling to finally stop holding back, and the two sisters reconciled.

However, Fu Ling, recalling Lao Gui’s words, began to suspect that Zhong Zhao might be the third child mentioned in the prophecy, though she was unwilling to believe it. Since learning she was the reincarnation of the Stars and Moon, Bai Shuo had been troubled by her dual identity, especially as memories of killing Jing Yuan occasionally surfaced in her mind. Fan Yue gently reassured her that the events of six thousand years ago were in the past.

Now that they had reconnected, they were no longer the Stars and Moon and Jing Yuan but Bai Shuo and Fan Yue. To him, Bai Shuo was unique and irreplaceable in this world. Fu Ling accompanied Zhong Zhao in searching for the bodies of Zhong Tai and Meng Ning. Instead, they discovered numerous Eternal Sect disciples' soul tablets in a hidden chamber in Luan Zhu's room. At that moment, Jin Yao appeared.

Zhong Zhao confronted him about his crimes, and Jin Yao, no longer concealing the truth, admitted that Zhong Tai and Meng Ning’s deaths were the result of their own choices. Jin Yao told Zhong Zhao that if he could forget everything about Bodhi Village, he would spare him. But Zhong Zhao firmly stated that regardless of his parents' choices, he would not compromise.

As Jin Yao prepared to attack Zhong Zhao and Fu Ling, Bai Shuo and Fan Yue arrived in time. Together, the four exposed Jin Yao’s true nature, vowing to seek justice for Zhong Zhao’s parents, Lao Gui, and the countless souls of Bodhi Village. However, Jin Yao showed no remorse. He arrogantly declared that justice did not come from words but from power, demonstrating his immense spiritual energy.

Overwhelmed, Bai Shuo and her companions were defeated and captured by Jin Yao. Knowing about the Seven-Star Soul-Burning Seal, Jin Yao used an ancient technique to ignite Fan Yue’s last star, causing him to fall into a coma. In desperation, Zhong Zhao unleashed hidden power, which allowed him to overpower Jin Yao effortlessly, killing him. With Jin Yao’s death, Bai Shuo absorbed the “Greed” emotion, completing the five emotions of the Desireless Stone.

However, Zhong Zhao collapsed into unconsciousness immediately afterward, falling into Fu Ling’s arms. Panicked, Bai Shuo rushed to check on Fan Yue’s condition.
