> Moonlight Mystique Recap

The grand celebration of the Bright Moon Palace arrived, with lanterns and decorations illuminating the surroundings. Fireworks exploded in dazzling colors, and the vibrant light bathed the dark sky as if it were day. However, at this beautiful moment, Fan Yue had planned to propose to Bai Shuo, but he felt that the timing was not right. Seeing this, Bai Shuo took the flowers from him and, in front of everyone, proposed to Fan Yue.

Both of them were filled with unspeakable pain, and, under the gazes of those present, they embraced and kissed through their tears. Tian Huo and the others sensed the unusual atmosphere, prompting Fan Yue to tell Tian Huo the truth. He explained that parting, whether by life or death, was a natural part of existence, and he hoped that they could all find peace and purpose.

After bidding farewell to Tian Huo, Fan Yue took Bai Shuo to the cliff of the Polar Realm to admire the scenery. The cool night air seemed to make the world feel like it was just the two of them. As Fan Yue’s condition worsened, he sat beside Bai Shuo, every breath seeming to drain the last bit of his strength. Bai Shuo promised that she would live on well.

Fan Yue, in return, hugged her and said that he would always be with her, becoming the stars and the moon, the wind that brushed past her, eternally by her side. Finally, he whispered "I love you," and passed away in her arms. At that moment, the Desireless Stone suddenly flashed, pulling Bai Shuo into the Moon Hidden Sea.

There, she learned that the white-haired man she had once seen as a benefactor was named Xiu Yan and was actually a deity of the Night Tribe. Xiu Yan revealed that the time had come, but he could not save Fan Yue, for Fan Yue had died 60,000 years ago. Now, he was only a fragment of divine soul, here to guard the Moon Hidden Sea and protect Bai Shuo.

Xiu Yan explained to Bai Shuo that only if she truly understood the purpose of the Moon Hidden Sea could she glimpse the divine path, break through the divine realm, and return to the mortal world to fulfill her destiny. To help her understand, Xiu Yan recounted events from 60,000 years ago, when the celestial realm was divided into the Night, Demon, and Hidden Tribes.

The Hidden Tribe was cruel and bloodthirsty, the Demon Tribe was proud and unruly, but the Night Tribe was dedicated to calming the souls and protecting the people. For many years, the Demon and Hidden Tribes had provoked and fought one another, each seeking to unite the divine realm. Yet the Night Tribe held the most powerful divine artifact in the realm—the "Star-Moon Divine Bow.

" Under the power of this bow, even the Demon God Jing Yuan and the Hidden Sovereign Mo Li were no match. For millennia, the Demon and Hidden Tribes had tried every way to destroy the Star-Moon Divine Bow, but the goddess of the Star-Moon, Xing Yue, protected it and made it nearly invulnerable.

Xing Yue, as the most powerful god in the Night Tribe, was the one who controlled the barrier of the Star-Moon Divine Bow, and only she knew where it was. During a celestial martial competition, the elders of the Night Tribe selected three young divine generals to serve as chosen attendants. Jing Yuan, by boldly confessing his feelings, caught Xing Yue's attention and became her new attendant, receiving the Flame Moon Jade Ring as a reward.

Xing Yue, a goddess of quietude, valued serenity, but Jing Yuan relentlessly sought things he liked in an attempt to get closer to her. However, Xing Yue was indifferent to everything, and so Jing Yuan, using the Mid-Autumn Night as an excuse, brought Xing Yue to the Moon Hidden Sea to drink and watch the stars. There, Xing Yue directly exposed his identity as the Demon God Jing Yuan and used the power of the stars to trap him.

Later, Xing Yue went to fulfill her thousand-year promise with Mo Li, the Hidden Sovereign. Jing Yuan, out of kindness, warned her that Mo Li had been in seclusion, practicing a secret technique. Xing Yue felt a slight stir in her heart but maintained her cold demeanor. Mo Li admired Xing Yue and hoped she would marry him to rule the divine realm together, but Xing Yue had no such interest.

Even though she defeated Mo Li, she was still injured by his hidden power. Bai Shuo, upon seeing that Mo Li resembled Zhong Zhao, was shocked. She had to face the fact that Zhong Zhao bore the divine mark of the Hidden Sovereign. Because Xing Yue had become emotionally involved, the power of the Desireless Stone weakened. Jing Yuan found the injured and unconscious Xing Yue and, by chance, discovered the location of the divine bow.

Originally, Jing Yuan had planned to destroy the divine bow, but he changed his mind. To heal Xing Yue, he used the Nine-Spirit Lotus to treat her wounds.
