Jing Yuan, heartbroken, was filled with disappointment and hatred, and Xing Yue, in her sorrow, struck him down. After leaving the Moon Hidden Sea, Xing Yue accepted her punishment and ordered Xiu Yan to act as her protector.

She sealed the Star Moon Pavilion until her emotions were completely sealed away. Although Xing Yue had always wanted to rid herself of her feelings for Jing Yuan, they had already taken root deeply, like wild grass in the spring that could not be cut down or eradicated. Even she had not expected that not even the greatest power in the world could seal away such emotions. As a result, Xing Yue’s divine power began to weaken.

In their meeting, Jing Yuan’s feelings for Xing Yue were torn between love and hatred. He took her to a place that he had built to resemble the Star Moon Pavilion. Seeing this, Xing Yue grew uneasy and demanded to know his intentions.
