When Ming Ya and Bei Su woke up, they found themselves tied up, and Bei Su acknowledged that they had fallen into a trap. Ming Ya noticed some broken pieces of bowls nearby, which she used to cut their bindings.
Ming Ya discovered that Bei Su could now touch things without vomiting, and she successfully obtained the data fragment. Dr. Li arrived and wanted to take the data fragment, but Bei Su refused. Ming Ya returned to the task world and asked the artificial intelligence if it was the gatekeeper, but the AI didn't know.
