Wei Zhi envied the deep affection between Ayu and Yan Yue, but in Ayu's eyes, she cherished the past more, despite the hardships they faced, as they sincerely treated each other. Now, they always felt a sense of estrangement, unable to truly understand each other. With Yan Yue frequently experiencing symptoms of heartache, Wei Zhi began to reflect on herself and regretted coming to the demon realm, causing everyone to live in pain. The past was a scar for them, and perhaps only by forgetting could they find ease and happiness. Therefore, she started considering the idea of leaving.

That night, Yan Yue lay restlessly in bed, unable to sleep. He got up and sat under the lamp, carving a wooden figurine. Yi Er continued her work of farming in Yingzhou, and the two immortals were assigned to inquire about Yi Er's situation from Da Tao. They lamented that people think being an immortal is great, but once they truly become one, they lose control and in the next life, they would want to be ordinary and normal.

The next day, Wei Zhi instructed Yan Xiaomo to review his lessons every day and diligently practice. Upon hearing the news of Wei Zhi's departure, Yan Xiaomo couldn't help but feel saddened. Coincidentally, it was also Wei Zhi's birthday that day. She silently cooked herself a bowl of longevity noodles, as if bidding farewell to the past. Unexpectedly, Yan Yue suddenly appeared and smiled, asking for a taste of the longevity noodles.

Wei Zhi took the initiative to tell the story of her first birthday, when she and her husband ate noodles together while watching the sunset, also marking their separation. As Yan Yue listened to these words, scenes flashed through his mind, shocking him inwardly. He quietly cast a spell, creating an illusion of a beautiful sunrise, reflecting across the entire demon realm. Using the sunrise before them, Yan Yue reminded Wei Zhi to look forward and not to be saddened by the past.

Later, Ayu came running to find Yan Yue. As she listened to him mention the circumstances of their first meeting, she suddenly felt a hidden unease in the present. She pretended to go along with it, but in reality, she had already lost that memory. On the other hand, Wei Zhi sat in front of a mirror, lost in thought. A voice in her heart told her that everything before her was an illusion and that she must not let Ayu and Yan Yue play a false game. It was because of this that Wei Zhi became more determined in her idea to stay and seek the truth to awaken Yan Yue.

Approaching Yan Xiaomo's birthday, Ayu realized that she couldn't remember when her son was born, nor did she remember her own birthday. She attempted to search for her past memories. At Wei Zhi's suggestion, Ayu took Yan Xiaomo to their old residence to investigate. They unexpectedly came across a medicinal jade box, which puzzled them. Yan Xiaomo also noticed that when Ayu touched the jade, his hands and face changed color. Upon returning to their residence, Ayu quickly took out the pendant that Yan Yue had given her and placed it inside the jade box. Although she loved the pendant, wearing it on her wrist made her feel a burning sensation.

Da Tao made an acacia bean bracelet for Yi Er, causing her longing to intensify. Disregarding the rules and regulations of heaven, Yi Er ventured into the dust of time and witnessed her first encounter with Mu Nan in her previous life. Finally, she understood the deep connection and true love they shared. Just as Yi Er was about to continue, the Heavenly Empress hurriedly arrived to stop her. However, Yi Er had no regrets and was willing to be imprisoned in the heavenly palace for eternity, as long as she could be with Mu Nan. Seeing her niece so stubbornly obsessed, the Heavenly Empress became angry and cast a spell to confine her in the heavenly palace, expending a great deal of spiritual power to repair the dust of time.

The Demon Lord couple accompanied their son Yan Xiaomo in practicing their magical arts. Yan Yue unexpectedly conjured a red phoenix feather, which then flew away. The family of three immediately gave chase and ended up at Wei Zhi's residence. Wei Zhi truthfully recounted the story of the love and battle between the Sun God and the phoenix. Ayu noticed that Wei Zhi's handkerchief covered the jade box, which made her suspicious and wary. As they were leaving, she reminded Wei Zhi not to wander around.

Lan Su went to find Ou Ya and found him sleeping in. She hastily woke him up to go and check on the phoenix egg, but to their surprise, the fluorescent glow on the eggshell disappeared into thin air. They had never encountered such a situation before and felt at a loss. Finally, they decided to go and ask Yi Er for clarification, hoping she might know the reason.
