Yan Yue finally confirmed that Aya was not his beloved wife, despite her identical appearance to Wei Zhi. Aya was gradually regaining her memories and desperately wanted Yan Yue to stay with her and their son, Yan Xiaomo. Meanwhile, Wei Zhi hurriedly returned to Taoyuan Village with Wu Mu but encountered numerous demonic soldiers blocking their way.

Wu Mu and Ou Ya held off the soldiers, giving Wei Zhi a chance to slip into the room and take the phoenix egg. As expected, the phoenix egg emitted a faint light, causing Yan Yue's memories to stir once again. Filled with rage, the Demon Queen Aya intended to attack Wei Zhi but was stopped by Yan Yue, who stood in front of her and took the blow.

Aya was shocked to see this and questioned Yan Yue about his actions. Yan Yue, however, looked towards Wei Zhi and called out her name. Despite Aya's desperate plea and lingering hope, Yan Yue saw through her true identity. Eventually, Aya collapsed and admitted that she had transformed into an illusion of Wei Zhi based on Yan Yue's deep subconscious longing for her. Aya returned to her true form, and the spell on Wei Zhi was lifted, restoring her appearance.

After Aya disappeared, Yan Yue immediately picked up the pendant and placed it on Wei Zhi's hand, promising never to be separated from her. The two embraced each other, tears streaming down their faces. The Four Guardians returned to their positions, wholeheartedly supporting the phoenix. At this moment, Yi Er sincerely apologized to the Heavenly Empress, leading to the unsealing of the Heavenly Realm's barrier.

The immortals learned of Yan Yue and the phoenix's reunion and requested that Yan Luo lead an attack on the Demon Realm. However, Yan Luo decided to personally go and mediate the conflict after investigating the situation, especially because Yan Luo and Yan Yue were half-brothers, believing that Yan Yue wouldn't act against him. Upon hearing the news, Yi Er informed the Heavenly Empress and prepared to go to the Demon Realm to seek a path to peace and resolve the longstanding grievances.

Yan Yue returned with Wei Zhi to White Egret Academy, reminiscing about their beautiful moments together. Under a tree, Wei Zhi found the characters she had carved, feeling a sense of nostalgia. Both Yan Yue and Wei Zhi found it somewhat unbelievable that they could continue to enjoy such happiness after experiencing so many changes. They hoped to have many children in the future and let them study at the academy.

Not long after, Yan Luo came to the Demon Realm and had a long conversation with Yan Yue and Wei Zhi. He expressed his refusal to participate in the proposed deadly duel by the immortals and instead sought a peaceful coexistence. Yan Yue agreed to stay in the Demon Realm forever and not disturb the Three Realms' tranquility. The Heavenly Demon conflict came to an end, and Yan Luo, seeing Yan Yue and Wei Zhi's deep love, genuinely felt happy for them, removing the Weak Water Barrier on the spot.

Then, Wei Zhi and Yan Yue went together to pay respects to Mu Nan, announcing the joyful news of their upcoming wedding to console his spirit in heaven. The Heavenly Empress informed the Heavenly Emperor about Yan Yue's intention to marry the phoenix, and although the Heavenly Emperor didn't fully support it, he wouldn't interfere too much or oppose it. However, as soon as the Heavenly Empress left, the previously unconscious Heavenly Emperor suddenly opened his eyes.

Yi Er, who arrived in the Demon Realm, searched for ingredients according to a recipe, intending to cook a delicious meal for Wei Zhi and Yan Yue. In the kitchen, she also mentioned Mu Nan to Qing Huan. Qing Huan had long held deep affection for Yi Er, both admiring Mu Nan for winning Yi Er's heart and feeling dejected due to his unrequited love.

Wei Zhi came to help Yi Er in the kitchen and discovered that she was preparing a simple vegetable stir-fry. Meanwhile, Yan Yue and Qing Huan were drinking together, and Yan Yue advised Qing Huan to support Yan Luo in the Heavenly Realm since being the Heavenly Emperor was a demanding role. After dinner, Yi Er went alone to pay respects to Mu Nan, unable to hold back her tears. Qing Huan brought her a wounded bird to help soothe her saddened heart.

Yan Yue and Wei Zhi couldn't sleep as they were nervous about their wedding the next day. Taoyuan Village held different meanings for both of them. However, Wei Zhi felt a slight unease, thinking about how in their past lives, they happily married each other but encountered a tragic ending. Yan Yue immediately interrupted Wei Zhi and assured her that this time, everything would be safe and sound. They were about to share a passionate kiss when Qing Huan suddenly appeared.
