To secure a collaboration with Chloe, Wu Kaitong brought Wei Shijie along to participate in a parent-child activity to get closer to her. At the same time, others had the same idea. During the activity, Chloe’s lack of understanding of her daughter, Tiantian, was evident. She often overlooked Tiantian’s feelings and even lacked the rapport Wu Kaitong and Wei Shijie displayed during the games, leaving her a bit disheartened.

Noticing this, Wu Kaitong comforted Chloe, saying that children are often more perceptive than adults and can be incredibly attentive. She suddenly proposed an idea: what if the exhibition invited children as volunteers to share their feelings about the artwork from their perspective? This would allow people to hear children’s voices more often. Chloe found this idea very intriguing. After waking up from a hangover, Xu Jianming, despite his dissatisfaction with his daughter’s sudden marriage, didn’t want to confront her directly.

Instead, he contacted Xu Junhao to learn more about his future son-in-law. Later, Xu Jianming met with Xu Junhao, bringing several bottles of liquor with him, determined to drink with him that day. Meanwhile, Xu Jiajia arranged to meet her mother, Tang Wei, to explain her flash marriage. She shared the story of how she and Xu Junhao met. Although their first impressions of each other weren’t great, they gradually realized how remarkable the other was.

Over time, they discovered that they were exactly what the other had been looking for, and the decision to get married was not made on impulse. When Xu Jianming met Xu Junhao, he made it clear he was there to test him as a future son-in-law. Xu Junhao handled the situation calmly, and the two men ended up getting along surprisingly well.

Xu Junhao expressed his understanding of the importance of marriage and his respect for Xu Jianming’s concerns as a father. He assured Xu Jianming that he regarded Xu Jiajia as his soulmate and was committed to her. This slightly improved Xu Jianming’s opinion of him. On the other side, Xu Jiajia expressed her love for Xu Junhao to Tang Wei and shared her hopes for their future marriage. She also talked about Xu Junhao’s proposal and their plans moving forward.

Tang Wei, however, reminded her to carefully consider the responsibilities and daily realities of marriage, as it involves more than just love. Although Tang Wei had reservations and concerns about her daughter’s decision, she ultimately respected and supported it. She had never seen her daughter so serious and focused when discussing a man, which made it clear that Xu Jiajia was deeply in love.

After dropping Wei Shijie off at his class, Wu Kaitong went to the gallery to discuss the exhibition with Chen Jiahui. Yvonne noticed Chen Jiahui’s radiant smile, like a young girl in love. Chen Jiahui didn’t deny it and began to understand Marilyn’s feelings. At that moment, Chen Jiahui received a package from Han Junhao, inviting her to attend a banquet with him. She happily agreed and messaged him back. Meanwhile, Xu Junle was juggling three jobs daily.

In addition to assisting Mai Youge with filming, he was learning cooking from Xu Zhiqiang and constantly mediating conflicts between Xu Zhiqiang and Xu Junhao. Noticing Xu Junle’s exhaustion, with visible dark circles under his eyes, Mai Youge offered to be his confidant and listen to him vent. Even the director noticed their unusual closeness and tried to pair them up. Wei Shijie’s original music compositions were moving and heartfelt.

He shared his inspiration with Wu Kaitong, explaining that music is meant to express emotions, while flashy techniques fail to convey true feelings. Wu Kaitong told Wei Shijie that everyone has things they don’t want to do but must. Wei Shijie offered to accompany her on her journey. Since arriving in Macau, Xu Jianming had been focused entirely on his daughter, leaving no time for his wife, Li Meng.

Feeling lonely, Li Meng sought Xu Jiajia’s help in finding places to explore. Xu Jiajia accompanied Li Meng on a shopping trip and a chat, realizing that Li Meng had a people-pleasing personality in her marriage. Xu Jianming never considered her feelings, so Xu Jiajia encouraged her to prioritize herself more in the future.
