Because both families were meeting for the first time, Xu Zhiqiang and his wife went to the market early to prepare for welcoming their future in-laws. Tang Wei and Xu Jianming arrived at the Xu household and met Xu Junhao's younger siblings, Xu Junle and Xu Baoyi, for the first time. Although there were occasional language barriers, the overall atmosphere was pleasant. During dinner, Tang Wei brought Xu Zhiqiang Tibetan medicine to treat his back pain.

Xu Zhiqiang initially thought it was arranged by Xu Jiajia, but to his surprise, it was actually Xu Junhao who told Xu Jiajia about it. As the conversation progressed, the Xu and Xu families transitioned from initial formality and probing to a genuine, warm chat. Xu Jiajia's parents were impressed by the Xu family's solid background—Xu Zhiqiang’s reliability, Ah Zhen’s open-mindedness, and their talented children—and felt confident entrusting their daughter to this family.

However, Tang Wei had some concerns, mainly about her daughter's inability to understand Cantonese. The Xu family frequently switched to their dialect during conversations, making it hard for her daughter to participate, which led Tang Wei to worry whether Xu Jiajia could integrate into this family. To express her sincerity, Ah Zhen gave Xu Jiajia an emerald ring passed down from her mother-in-law. Touched by the Xu family's enthusiasm, Tang Wei ultimately agreed to the marriage between the young couple.

On the way home, Tang Wei shared her concerns with Xu Jianming again. Xu Jianming understood her worries and decided to spend more time interacting with the Xu family in the coming weeks. On the other hand, Xu Zhiqiang and Ah Zhen also sensed the concerns of Xu Jiajia's parents and planned to invite them out for another discussion.

Ah Zhen, delighted by her youngest son’s interest in learning to cook and her husband's decision to retire and stay at home, felt a great sense of joy. Tang Wei wanted to suggest that Xu Jianming participate in a variety show organized by an entertainment company. However, before she could finish speaking, Xu Jianming misunderstood her intentions, thinking she wanted to reconcile and remarry, and immediately rejected her.

Although Xu Jianming still had lingering feelings for Tang Wei, he knew they could not go back to how things were. When Tang Wei heard about Xu Jianming’s relationship troubles with Li Meng, she suppressed her own feelings and shared advice from her experience on how to make amends with a partner. Meanwhile, Xu Junle was heartbroken over his struggles with Mai Youge, especially with her impending departure from Macau.

Seeing her son’s sadness, Ah Zhen comforted him and encouraged him to share his true feelings. She reminded him that he and Mai Youge came from different places, with distinct life experiences and lifestyles, and advised him to consider things from her perspective. After all, love also depends on fate. On the second day of the Grand Prix final, everyone was still working tirelessly to repair Han Junhao's car, but luck was not on his side.

Han Junhao sat despondently outside the repair room, his head hanging low, unsure of how to face the situation. The team manager consoled him, suggesting he rest for now, though even the manager wasn’t sure if the car could be fully repaired by the next day. Chen Jiahui sat by her window, watching the heavy rain and reflecting on her memories with Han Junhao. By dawn, she had finally made up her mind.

While the team was racing against time to repair the car, Han Junhao grew increasingly anxious. Suddenly, he saw Chen Jiahui arrive at the repair room, leaving him stunned. Han Junhao didn’t want Chen Jiahui to see his vulnerable side and was afraid of disappointing everyone. However, Chen Jiahui held his hand and reassured him, saying that the race hadn’t started yet, and as long as it wasn’t over, there was still hope.

She urged him to trust his team and himself, promising to stand by his side and face everything together. With Chen Jiahui’s encouragement, Han Junhao drove the not-fully-repaired car onto the track. The race was lively and intense, with over twenty cars competing fiercely. Han Junhao and Tomoto Dozhen stayed at the forefront, but Han Junhao soon widened the gap, maintaining his lead in first place.
