As evening approached, Chen Jiahui and Han Junhao were caught in a sudden downpour while descending from the mountaintop. They ran to a nearby spot to take shelter from the rain. On a whim, Chen Jiahui pulled Han Junhao out for a walk in the rain, and they eventually arrived at an art studio. There, amidst the rainy scenery, Chen Jiahui made a romantic confession. The connection in their gazes sparked undeniable chemistry, leading them to share a passionate kiss.

It wasn’t until the following morning that Han Junhao rode his motorcycle to take Chen Jiahui home. Wu Kaitong noticed Wei Shijie sitting by the pool, lost in thought, as other children his age played together. He seemed uninterested in joining them. Curious, Wu Kaitong asked if he wanted to make friends. Wei Shijie, learning that Wu Kaitong had taken responsibility for the allergy incident, began to see her as a trustworthy friend.

However, this left Wu Kaitong feeling conflicted, as she believed she should not take advantage of him just because of her job. In Wu Kaitong's view, she and Wei Shijie were alike—both found it difficult to trust others. Once they gave their hearts and were hurt, it became nearly impossible to maintain the relationship.

Later, Wu Kaitong confided her troubles to Chen Jiahui and tactfully explained to Wei Shijie that she couldn’t accompany him to see the ocean or be his friend. She revealed that everything she had done was for work, trying to please Ms. Lin in hopes of being transferred to the United States. Xu Junle and Mai Youge took a bus ride around Macau’s old city, admiring the views through the windows.

Xu Junle cautiously asked if Mai Youge missed Macau, subtly hinting at whether she missed him. Meanwhile, Mai Youge was curious about Xu Junle’s views on love, or more specifically, his ideal partner. Xu Junle openly expressed that he hoped to love someone who could also be his best friend—someone with their own hobbies yet willing to explore new experiences together. He believed such a relationship would only deepen over time.

Afterward, Xu Junle took Mai Youge to explore a nearby market. The warmth of the locals left Mai Youge pleasantly surprised and nostalgic for her hometown and her happy memories with her grandmother. Sensing her slight sadness, Xu Junle sat with her on a bench and comforted her with his words. That evening, Mai Youge contacted the filming crew to prepare for the first day of shooting. Due to Macau's complex filming regulations, strict compliance was required.

Xu Junle immediately called a friend to secure a camera lens, helping Mai Youge resolve an urgent issue. Their collaboration on set was seamless, akin to that of longtime partners. Han Junhao, suffering from neck discomfort, was brought by Chen Jiahui to Huang Zhong’s therapy clinic. Huang Zhong’s exceptional skills quickly resolved the problem.

During their conversation, Han Junhao repeatedly tested the boundaries of their relationship, making sweet and ambiguous remarks that brought an increasingly bright smile to Chen Jiahui’s face. The eldest son, Xu Junhao, accompanied his mother for exercise and inquired about his father’s health. He suggested it might be time to consider selling Zhenqiangji, given his father’s age.

Aunt Zhen, hearing that Xu Junhao had a girlfriend, was overjoyed and playfully brought up how Xu Junle seemed to be acquainted with a girl as well. Due to Wu Kaitong’s leave of absence, Mandy temporarily took over Wei Shijie’s schedule. Wei Shijie appeared downcast and frequently asked about Wu Kaitong. Meanwhile, Wu Kaitong experienced a bout of gastritis but didn’t inform anyone, enduring it alone in the hospital.

She was stunned to see Wei Shijie appear at her hospital room door, feeling both touched and uncertain. Wei Shijie, seeing her lonely state, stayed by her side, listening as she murmured in her sleep, his emotions becoming increasingly complex. Chen Jiahui and Han Junhao walked through a bustling night market, sampling various delicious snacks. Chen Jiahui invited Han Junhao to attend a friend’s gallery opening with her. Curious, Han Junhao asked what role he should assume for the event.

Chen Jiahui jokingly offered many identities—except for “boyfriend. ” The two laughed and chatted happily. The first day of shooting went smoothly. Mai Youge suggested celebrating at Zhenqiangji with Xu Junle. While serving food at the restaurant, Aunt Zhen overheard Brother Yong joking that the dishes were overly salty today and teasing that Xu Zhiqiang needed to train his apprentice better. Aunt Zhen, however, knew her husband always personally cooked Brother Yong’s food and grew concerned about her husband’s condition.

While chatting with Xu Zhiqiang, Mai Youge learned that he insisted on running the restaurant to serve the neighborhood regulars, which is why he hadn’t accepted an acquisition offer from Hong Kong businessmen. Seeing the community’s support for Zhenqiangji, Xu Zhiqiang became even more determined to perfect his dishes and ensure everyone left satisfied.

After dinner, Mai Youge received a call from Maggie, learning that the company had suddenly reassigned the Starworld project to a new client manager, Wu Anmei, who happened to be the supervisor’s relative. Mai Youge was frustrated by the change and wanted to continue handling the project but was cut off by Maggie, who refused to listen. The next day, the crew ordered takeout from Zhenqiangji, but the flavors were unexpectedly heavy.

Both Mai Youge and Xu Junle found it strange, thinking the chef might have changed. At the same time, Mai Youge met Wu Anmei, the new client manager for the project. Due to a lack of proper handover, Wu Anmei was unfamiliar with the shooting plan and Macau’s filming regulations. This led to coordination issues and a series of problems during the shoot. Xu Junhao criticized the situation.

Just as Mai Youge repeatedly apologized, Xu Junle approached and greeted his elder brother. This revealed to Xu Junhao that Mai Youge was the "client-side girl" their mother had mentioned. Meanwhile, Mai Youge discovered that Xu Junhao and Xu Junle were brothers. The coincidence left the three of them amused. Xu Junhao reminded Xu Junle to return home for dinner. At the family meal, Xu Junle met Xu Junhao’s girlfriend, Xu Jiajia, for the first time.

During the meal, Xu Junhao announced his plans to get married. However, Xu Zhiqiang was skeptical, believing marriage wasn’t something to take lightly and that the relationship might be rushed. Frustrated, Xu Zhiqiang left the table, while Aunt Zhen reassured Xu Junhao and Xu Jiajia that marriage was their decision and not to overthink it. Later, the children discovered that Xu Zhiqiang had been secretly taking medication for taste disorders.

Xu Junhao questioned why his father insisted on running the restaurant despite his health. Xu Junle, however, understood his father’s true intentions. Wei Shijie personally picked Wu Kaitong up from the hospital and took her to eat pig’s trotters with ginger at a street stall because he had remembered her mentioning it in her sleep. This gesture deeply moved Wu Kaitong.

Meanwhile, Mai Youge tried contacting Maggie again, hoping to continue overseeing the Starworld project to avoid further issues, but Maggie remained unyielding. At Michelle’s gallery opening, Chen Jiahui, with her outgoing and confident personality, captured the attention of many artists and peers. However, her success sparked jealousy from art critic Matthew, who sarcastically accused her of focusing too much on romance and mocked Han Junhao’s career as a racer.

Considering Han Junhao’s feelings, Chen Jiahui immediately defended him, leaving Matthew speechless. Han Junhao was touched by Chen Jiahui’s protective gesture, feeling a warmth in his heart.
