Gu Xun was out for a run at night when he saw that Yue Qianling still hadn't returned. He wondered how late it was, yet she wasn't back. Just as he said that, Yue Qianling came back, and Gu Xun asked why she was so late. Yue Qianling said she hadn’t even finished her draft, so how could she rest. Gu Xun told her it was already 3 a. m. and that she should pay attention to her rest.

Yue Qianling asked him why he was out running at 3 a. m. and whether he didn't care about his health. Gu Xun said he was going to bed now. Gu Xun logged into the game under his "school hunk" identity and told Yue Qianling to check out the game design competition, especially the special reward section.

When Yue Qianling saw Gu Xun’s name, Gu Xun acted as though he didn’t know and asked Yue Qianling if the person she had a crush on before was named Gu Xun. Yue Qianling said that Gu Xun was such a common name, maybe it was just a coincidence, but she also said the game designer must be him. Gu Xun told her that her judgment was spot on before.

After looking at the design competition, Yue Qianling thought Gu Xun was right. She also watched a video about game design that Gu Xun had posted online. Yue Qianling felt that maybe Gu Xun was right after all—her lines were incomplete, and her gaze wasn’t firm enough. Yue Qianling had a meeting scheduled with the Xingxing team in the morning, but Jiang Yishi suddenly changed the meeting time for the first division.

Yue Qianling was delayed by the meeting in the first division, and when she went to the Xingxing team in the afternoon, they told her they had other things to do. Gu Xun overheard everything in the office. He came out and told the Xingxing team that he had a conference call and asked them to go ahead with their work.

The Xingxing team reluctantly held the meeting with Yue Qianling and asked her to wait while they gathered the materials. Yue Qianling went to the library to find the books Gu Xun had mentioned in the video. Just as she was about to take one, Gu Xun took it first. When Yue Qianling reached for another book, Gu Xun took that one too.

Yue Qianling said he already had one, and Gu Xun explained that he had a habit of collecting books—whenever he read one, he’d buy it and keep it. Yue Qianling thought he was doing it on purpose and said he was a bit crazy. She asked the librarian if there were any other copies of the books, and the librarian said there weren’t.

Gu Xun told Yue Qianling that he could lend her his books, and Yue Qianling was happy at first. However, when he said she could only borrow them if she drove him, her mood changed. Gu Xun explained that a few days ago, when he helped her move things, he twisted his wrist, so he couldn’t drive. Yue Qianling agreed to drive him so she could borrow the books.

While driving, Yue Qianling scared Gu Xun so much that he told her to pull over, but Yue Qianling ignored him and told him to just look at his phone. Yue Qianling asked Wei Han to take a look at the character Lin Zhi she had drawn. Wei Han told her that there was still room for improvement with the weapons and recommended an ancient game expert, Wang Linzhi, but his lecture tickets were extremely hard to get.

Gu Xun overheard their conversation and went to find Wang Linzhi. Since Wang Linzhi had been his teacher, Gu Xun asked him to help get two lecture tickets. Yue Qianling arrived at the lecture hall, but since she didn’t have a ticket, she was turned away. Just then, she bumped into Su Zheng, who said he had a friend at the collaborator company who could help her check if there were any tickets available.

Gu Xun also arrived and was about to tell Yue Qianling that he had tickets, but Su Zheng told her that his friend could help, though the seats would be a bit out of the way. Yue Qianling was overjoyed and happily entered with Su Zheng. She was surprised to find her seat in the front row and thought Su Zheng was amazing. Gu Xun stood upstairs and saw everything.

He gritted his teeth and muttered that Yue Qianling had thanked the wrong person. Su Zheng told Yue Qianling that the tickets had actually been arranged by Gu Xun, and he thought Gu Xun seemed sincere in trying to make her happy and seeking her forgiveness. Yue Qianling pondered Su Zheng’s words. Yue Qianling logged into the game and posted in the group chat that she had caught a cold and couldn’t get any medicine delivered because it was raining.

Gu Xun, upon hearing this, went out in the rain to buy medicine for her and ran into her on his way back. Yue Qianling asked him what he was hiding, and Gu Xun, trying to prevent her from finding out, hugged her. Taking the opportunity to ask for a hairdryer, Gu Xun told Yue Qianling to come to his house where he had cold medicine.

Yue Qianling realized that the cold medicine Gu Xun had just bought was the same as the one she needed, and she started to suspect that Gu Xun was indeed the "school hunk.
