Chen Xinyi stayed at Yue Qianling's house for some reason. When Gu Xun arrived at the door and knocked, it was Chen Xinyi who answered. Chen Xinyi asked why he had come, and Gu Xun asked her why she was there. Chen Xinyi explained that she was currently staying at Yue Qianling's place. Gu Xun said he was looking for Yue Qianling, and Chen Xinyi replied that she wasn’t at home.

Gu Xun told her he was there for work, and just then, Yue Qianling came out with a face mask on. Gu Xun handed her a cup of milk tea, saying it was a buy-one-get-one-free offer. Yue Qianling told Chen Xinyi that the milk tea was for her, but Chen Xinyi said it was specifically bought for her by Gu Xun.

Yue Qianling said she couldn’t just let Chen Xinyi watch her drink it, so Gu Xun gave her his own cup. Yue Qianling asked Gu Xun about the work-related matter, and Gu Xun said he had found some videos about 3A games for her to watch. Yue Qianling told Chen Xinyi to go ahead and sleep because she had to work overtime that evening. Chen Xinyi opened Yue Qianling’s wardrobe, and to her surprise, all the clothes fell out.

She noticed a portrait of Gu Xun hidden inside the wardrobe and felt that there might be something going on between the two. Seeing Yue Qianling’s messy room, Chen Xinyi decided to clean it up neatly. After finishing, Yue Qianling asked if she could help tidy up the kitchen as well. Yue Qianling tried to watch the video Gu Xun had given her, but it was password-protected. Yue Qianling sent Gu Xun a message asking for the USB password.

Gu Xun asked if she had forgiven him. Yue Qianling loudly replied, "No way! " Then she thought, "He can’t be that shameless," and jokingly tried the pinyin for "forgive" and was surprised to find it worked. Early the next morning, Gu Xun received a call from Jiang Junnan. Jiang Junnan told him that Ling Yu had responded and said she was very interested. Yue Qianling woke up to find Chen Xinyi had made a huge breakfast.

She said that Chen Xinyi was so impressive that she wouldn’t be able to eat takeout in the future. As they were eating, Gu Xun arrived, and Yue Qianling quickly started packing up, as they were about to leave for a business trip to Beijing. Yue Qianling asked if he was going with her, and Gu Xun replied that he was. Yue Qianling called Huang Jie to tell her that she was going on a business trip to Beijing.

Huang Jie remarked that everyone seemed to be heading to Beijing, and that Jiang Junnan had rushed there the night before. Yue Qianling realized that something had gone wrong with the collaboration with Ling Yu, so she and Gu Xun hurried to Beijing. Gu Xun felt that the first business department had beaten them to the punch with the collaboration, which seemed like it had been planned in advance.

While on the way to find Ling Yu, Yue Qianling had a new idea and quickly sketched it out. When they met Ling Yu and explained their purpose, Ling Yu told them they were too late, and someone from her company had already beaten them to it with a better offer. Ling Yu's partner got injured right before their performance, and Yue Qianling asked Gu Xun to go on stage with her.

The audience thought they made a good pair, and Yue Qianling felt uneasy when she heard them. Yue Qianling thought that Gu Xun was quite the actor and wondered if he had forgotten about their business talks. Gu Xun told her that the business discussion was her responsibility. Ling Yu said she had something to attend to and would talk to them later, then started playing a game.

Yue Qianling noticed that it was the game she and Gu Xun had played together, so she told Ling Yu that teamwork was crucial in this game and suggested that she and Gu Xun could help her with it. After the game, Yue Qianling explained to Ling Yu the intention behind creating the game, and Ling Yu agreed to cooperate with them. Gu Xun then asked Yue Qianling what gift would be appropriate for a girl.

Yue Qianling asked if the girl was delicate and liked jewelry, to which Gu Xun replied that she didn’t like either. Yue Qianling then commented that the girl must be quite rough. Gu Xun agreed that she was rough but also very cute. Yue Qianling thought he was talking about a gift for Ling Yu, so she suggested that a girl like Ling Yu would definitely like a keyboard.

When they returned to Jiangcheng, the keyboard Gu Xun had bought also arrived. He gave Yue Qianling one and kept another for himself. Gu Xun went to the first business department to find Yue Qianling and invited her to join a real-life competition. Just then, Jiang Yishi happened to see them.
