The employees of the Ninth Division were having a meal together. Jiang Junnan asked Chen Xinyi why Yue Qianling didn’t come to the gathering today. Chen Xinyi told him that today was Huang Jie’s birthday from Project One. Just as she finished speaking, Yue Qianling and Huang Jie entered. Gu Xun quickly stood up and greeted Yue Qianling, and Jiang Junnan and the others invited the two women to join them.

They talked about the company’s social events, and Jiang Junnan suggested that Gu Xun join him. Gu Xun said his girlfriend was strict and that he wouldn’t go. Gu Xun said that whatever his girlfriend was like, that would be his ideal type. After saying this, Gu Xun kicked Yue Qianling under the table, and the two of them exchanged sweet glances. After the gathering, Yue Qianling asked Gu Xun why she had never seen a photo of his girlfriend. Gu Xun asked if she wanted to see, and Yue Qianling nodded.

He took out his phone to show her, but unexpectedly, he wanted to take a picture of the two of them together. While pretending to deliver documents to Yue Qianling, Gu Xun had written many little notes for her, telling her there were snacks in the drawer, not to drink coffee on an empty stomach, and that he had bought her a new tea cup in the tea room.

Yue Qianling went to the tea room and saw a yellow mug, just as Gu Xun arrived with a black mug. Jiang Junnan told Feng Ruru that even though they had broken up, they could still be friends, and that sending flowers for her birthday was just as friends, with no other meaning. Feng Ruru was about to say she didn’t want him to do this again, but Jiang Junnan preemptively told her that he wouldn’t do it again. Jiang Junnan then asked Chen Xinyi if there was anything else that hadn’t been canceled.

Chen Xinyi said there was still the restaurant reservation for Feng Ruru’s birthday. Jiang Junnan said that since it couldn’t be canceled, he and Chen Xinyi should just go together. While they were having dinner, Jiang Junnan realized that Chen Xinyi knew him very well and asked her if, because she understood him so much, she might like him. Chen Xinyi didn’t respond, just taking a sip of wine. Jiang Junnan realized that Chen Xinyi liked him.

Gu Xun and Yue Qianling were cooking together at his place when Jiang Junnan suddenly barged in. Yue Qianling quickly crouched down, but Jiang Junnan had already seen her. He then deliberately said, “Yue Qianling, do you know that Gu Xun has a girlfriend?

Is it really okay for you to be at his place so late at night? ” Yue Qianling was about to leave, but Gu Xun held her hand and told Jiang Junnan that they were together. Yue Qianling and Gu Xun walked to work hand in hand, and Huang Jie had already seen them. Yue Qianling told Huang Jie that they were together.
