Gu Xun helped the drunk Yue Qianling to bed, and Yue Qianling complained about the smell, saying it smelled like Gu Xun. After hearing this, Gu Xun sprayed a lot of perfume on himself and asked Yue Qianling to smell again, assuring her that it was gone. Yue Qianling stood up and got close to Gu Xun, almost kissing him, but she fell again. Gu Xun then carried her to the bed.

The next morning, when Yue Qianling woke up and saw it was Gu Xun’s room, she immediately got angry and walked out, grabbing her coat and bag, preparing to leave. But when she saw Gu Xun sleeping on the sofa, she felt guilty and apologized to him in her heart. She knew she needed to calm down and maybe couldn’t treat him well anymore.

Gu Xun woke up and opened the door, only to find a keyboard, his slippers, and other small things left outside. He looked at the door of Yue Qianling’s house and reluctantly brought the things inside. Chen Xinyi arrived at the company and saw the turtle food on her desk. She took it in and told Jiang Junnan that her turtle couldn’t digest this kind of food.

Yue Qianling told Gu Xun that she had tried combining narrow paths with Western elements, but she couldn’t do it. Gu Xun knew this wasn’t her true level, and she couldn’t do 3A this way. Yue Qianling told him she couldn’t do it, and just as she finished speaking, Jiang Junnan came in, telling Gu Xun that the glutinous rice little fried dough was about to become irritable.

Gu Xun asked him if Chen Xinyi had been ignoring him lately, and Jiang Junnan shook his head. Gu Xun tried to explain to Yue Qianling, but she wouldn’t listen. Just then, she saw Stella playing a game and walked over to her. Yue Qianling saw Stella’s username was “Empress Dowager. ” Yue Qianling immediately thought of the Empress Dowager they had faced in a game before and told Stella that she was the glutinous rice little fried dough.

Stella said their team had a tactic called "school grass," which was quite tricky. Yue Qianling glanced at Gu Xun and said that in real life, "school grass" people were like that too. Gu Xun proudly admitted that he was the "school grass," and Yue Qianling told Stella not to talk to the traitor. When Gu Xun finished work, he happened to see Yue Qianling. He wanted to take her home, but she rejected him.

Yue Qianling went alone to the restaurant she and Gu Xun had once booked together. There, she coincidentally ran into people from Water and Director Wang. She hurriedly went over to listen to what they were saying. After hearing their conversation, Yue Qianling thought on her way back that if Gu Xun didn’t go to Water, his game would be buried.

When Yue Qianling returned to the company, she heard Chen Xinyi tell her that Gu Xun had taken people from the Ninth Division to meet with Water. She impulsively ran over and started arguing with Gu Xun. Gu Xun said their game code word, and Yue Qianling immediately understood. She quickly sat down and cooperated with him. Back at home, Yue Qianling was upset because Gu Xun had lied to her. She ordered him to kneel without touching the keyboard.

Unexpectedly, while kneeling, Gu Xun formed the English letters of "love" with his knees. Yue Qianling told him that she had been so angry that she forgot to talk about the important matter. She told him she had heard that Water and Director Wang were discussing that if he went and didn’t listen, they would bury his game.

Gu Xun told her that all of this was part of their plan, and he had already discussed it with Stella to persuade the shareholders. Yue Qianling said that after keeping her buried for so long, she hadn’t forgiven him yet and told him to keep kneeling. Gu Xun suddenly pushed Yue Qianling onto the sofa, tickling her, and they playfully made up.

Chen Xinyi resigned because Jiang Junnan was going to Water, but everyone in the Ninth Division knew that this was all just a show put on by Gu Xun. Chen Xinyi chose to go to Project One, and Gu Xun and Jiang Junnan were planning to bring her back. Jiang Yishi told them that staying here was better than being out there.

Gu Xun and Stella were both struggling to find investors, and the security guard saw Stella sitting alone, feeling sad. He called out to her several times, but she didn’t respond. He walked over and asked her what she was thinking, even when her father was calling her. After learning the situation, Stella’s father told her that he had once told her to always leave a backup plan and not to worry.
