Han Qing, nicknamed “Unhappy” for her stern demeanor and single-minded focus on work, has built a solid partnership with Zhong Wei over the years. But when Zhong Wei vanishes without a trace after tailing a suspect, and remains missing for nearly two months, Han Qing is left to grapple with anxiety and grief while handling other cases. She never stops searching for clues related to him.
A newly emerged murder case draws Han Qing’s full attention. Through scattered details, she senses a connection between the case and Zhong Wei’s disappearance. Despite heavy resistance during the investigation, the true perpetrator eventually emerges.
As the pieces come together, the mystery behind Zhong Wei's fate becomes clearer. The police gradually uncover links between the disappearance, the murder, and a major drug trafficking case. They unravel the carefully constructed network of a criminal organization and the secrets hidden within it.
With collective effort, the Sanhe Criminal Investigation Team cracks the entire case wide open, bringing all criminals to justice.
