Xu Nannan drank quite a bit and asked Han Xizhou why he wanted to compete with Chief Wu. She wondered if he actually cared about more than just winning or losing, perhaps caring about himself. Xu Nannan assured Han Xizhou not to worry too much about her and expressed her willingness to be with him, but the question was whether Han Xizhou was willing. Xu Nannan asked Han Xizhou to come closer and kissed him.
The next day, Xu Nannan woke up to find Han Xizhou online, looking to buy clothes for her. Feeling embarrassed, she tried to sneak out but was stopped by Han Xizhou. He lifted Xu Nannan onto a chair, and she asked what he was doing. Han Xizhou mentioned the cold weather and the chilly floor, expressing concern that not wearing socks could lead to catching a cold. He squatted down and helped Xu Nannan put on her socks.
While exploring Han Xizhou's computer, Xu Nannan discovered videos he had recorded over the years. Han Xizhou had consistently tried to find Xu Nannan, recording videos during her high school graduation and university entrance exams, wishing her success in the exams and a happy university life. Han Xizhou even visited Xu Nannan's university but chose to watch from afar, afraid of being seen. Seeing these videos, Xu Nannan couldn't hold back tears, realizing that Han Xizhou had always cared about her.
