Xu Nannan woke up, and Han Xizhou was there, mentioning that he had already cooked porridge. Xu Nannan took a sip and found that this Eight Treasures Porridge tasted exactly the same as the ones sold outside. Han Xizhou, feeling guilty, kicked the trash can to the side, revealing several cans of Eight Treasures Porridge. Han Xizhou admitted that he did make it but got distracted, ruining the porridge, so he had to buy it.
Xu Nannan and Han Xizhou came out, and Han Xizhou expressed that he had something to say to her. Han Xizhou made a gesture, but instead of fireworks, balloons were released below. Others explained that it was daytime, so fireworks or balloons made no difference, leaving Han Xizhou speechless.
Han Xizhou expressed his feelings to Xu Nannan, explaining that his job was very dangerous, and he would often be busy, possibly with little time to spend with her. Xu Nannan didn't mind and mentioned that she would be busy too, chasing news might even make her busier than Han Xizhou. Han Xizhou confessed that he had no prior dating experience but promised to treat Xu Nannan well.
Everyone teased Han Xizhou to kneel down for a proposal, and surprisingly, he did kneel down on both knees, leaving everyone speechless. Xu Nannan agreed to be with Han Xizhou, and they embraced each other affectionately. Han Xizhou expressed gratitude for meeting Xu Nannan and appreciating the present moments.
