Currently, the victim’s younger brother was the main suspect, as he had a fierce argument with the victim before the crime.

Yan Xing analyzed the wound and speculated that the murderer was either highly skilled in martial arts or harbored a deep grudge. Considering all the evidence, she leaned more toward the killer being someone with extraordinary abilities. Mo Qianzhi frowned, knowing this case would be difficult, and vowed to uncover the truth. Pan Chi, entrusted by the victim’s family, joined the investigation. He and Yan Xing quickly reached a consensus, engaging in a heated discussion at the scene.

Shen Du, observing this, felt displeased and interrupted them under the pretext of being hungry, insisting on ending the investigation to take Yan Xing for a meal. Left with no choice, Yan Xing agreed but cleverly arranged for Qi Yeyun to cook while she quietly slipped away to meet her pen pal. Shen Du’s unreasonable demand and Yan Xing’s clever response added a subtle layer of complexity to their relationship during the tense investigation. Yan Xing arrived at the designated meeting place and suddenly heard a series of secret signals. To her surprise, the familiar voice came from a man—Pan Chi.

Stunned, Yan Xing saw Pan Chi step forward, and they exchanged smiles, the atmosphere slightly awkward. Yan Xing admitted that when they first exchanged letters, Pan Chi had used exquisite floral stationery, with petals and a pleasant fragrance, leading her to mistakenly believe the sender was a gentlewoman. Pan Chi, recalling the casual decision he made after drinking that day, couldn’t help but laugh.

Meanwhile, Li Zimo expressed his deep feelings for Du Xiaowan, vowing not to let this incident come between them, and urging her to stand strong and identify the true culprit. The atmosphere at the scene was heavy, as everyone knew that only by uncovering the truth could Du Xiaowan's name be cleared and the murderer brought to justice.
