Yan Xing quietly approached the ancestral tablets, gazing at the sunlight streaming through the window, lost in deep thought. The Grand Empress Dowager was playing with the young emperor in the palace, their laughter filling the air. At that moment, Princess Yong'an entered the hall, her face showing signs of worry. This moment dissolved all of Yan Xing’s worries, and as their eyes met, it felt as if all the misunderstandings and hardships between them had vanished.
