Zhou Jiaojiao was killed by Zhou Zichen while trying to save Xiao Hongye, and Cheng Ming knocked Xiao Hongye unconscious and took him away.
It turns out that all of this was a scheme set up by Gu Meng and Zhou Zichen. However, Gu Meng only wanted to leave, and everything else was done maliciously by Zhou Zichen. Gu Meng questioned him because of this. However, Zhou Zichen brought up what Gu Meng had said when she saved him years ago, as well as the destruction of the Gu family and the loss of their child, in order to provoke pain in Gu Meng's heart and make her hate Xiao Hongye even more. The two of them planned again to deal with Xiao Hongye.
Zhou Zichen and Gu Meng planned to hold a wedding to lure Xiao Hongye out.
During the wedding ceremony, Xiao Hongye indeed appeared. Xiao Hongye proposed that he would give up everything as long as Gu Meng left with him. Xiao Hongye threw out the seal of authority, distracting Zhou Zichen's attention and allowing Gu Meng to come to his side. However, at this moment, Gu Meng took out a handgun from the bouquet of flowers and pointed it at Xiao Hongye.
