Bai Xiaoduo kept replaying the image of Su Yancheng kissing her in her mind while she was taking a shower. After she finished, Su Yancheng was waiting outside for her. Bai Xiaoduo lay down on the bed while Su Yancheng slept on the floor. She asked Su Yancheng why he was unwilling to reveal his identity as Black.
Su Yancheng explained that he didn’t want Black's identity to affect his life at the time, so he had signed a confidentiality agreement with the publisher. Bai Xiaoduo suggested that they keep their relationship a secret for now, as she was worried that once Su Yancheng’s identity as Black became public, it would negatively affect them due to the many fans, and she herself also had secrets that she feared Su Yancheng wouldn’t accept.
Initially, Su Yancheng didn’t care whether their relationship was public, but after Bai Xiaoduo insisted, he agreed. Eventually, Bai Xiaoduo invited Su Yancheng to lie on the bed with her. Su Yancheng was very excited. They both lay there, sharing their personal stories. Su Yancheng confessed that he never received love from his parents and thought they didn’t love him, but Bai Xiaoduo comforted him, saying that parents would never give up on their children.
They both fell asleep in each other's arms. The next morning, Bai Xiaoduo’s mother returned. Bai Xiaoduo was still asleep, and Su Yancheng hurriedly woke her up. She was still groggy, and Su Yancheng quickly went to handle the situation. Bai Xiaoduo quickly woke up as well. When Su Yancheng saw his mother, he became nervous. His mother noticed that something was wrong but didn’t say much. She made breakfast and prepared to leave.
When Su Yancheng saw that his mother had made two bowls of noodles, he realized that she already knew, but he didn’t know how to explain. Su Yancheng’s mother told him that he was grown up now and could make his own decisions, but he should know his limits. Su Yancheng was late for school, and when the teacher asked him, he admitted that he had been home. He Rui felt a little down upon hearing this.
Meanwhile, Yu Shubo had previously wrongly accused Yu Chi, which made Yu Chi very upset, and she had been ignoring him ever since, not as actively friendly as before. After meeting Bai Xiaoduo, she expressed her concern to Su Yancheng about Yu Shubo and Yu Chi’s future relationship. Xiao Yang and Lin Xiaomiao went on a date to a café to discuss books. While they were talking, Bai Xiaoduo and Su Yancheng walked in.
The four of them felt a bit awkward when they met. Bai Xiaoduo wanted to leave, but Su Yancheng insisted on sitting down. Xiao Yang and Lin Xiaomiao acted very close, with Xiao Yang even feeding Lin Xiaomiao, which made Su Yancheng and Bai Xiaoduo feel uncomfortable. The two of them had agreed to keep their relationship a secret and not let it be known to others.
Xiao Yang and Lin Xiaomiao knew that the two were dating but didn’t show it in front of others, possibly because they didn’t want to go public. Bai Xiaoduo was very worried that her lies would affect her relationship with Su Yancheng and even had a nightmare that night. The next day, Bai Xiaoduo went to the studio, where Yu Chi was waiting for her. Yu Chi asked Bai Xiaoduo what she thought about Yu Shubo, and Bai Xiaoduo praised him.
