The group left, giving Yu Shubo and Yu Chi some time alone together. Yu Chi asked Yu Shubo what kind of person she was in his eyes. Yu Shubo always tried to care for everyone’s feelings, doing his best to meet the needs of those around him, which often made him feel exhausted. After reflecting on their experiences, Yu Chi boldly kissed Yu Shubo. Yu Shubo was stunned by her initiative, and after the kiss, Yu Chi shyly ran away.
The group arrived at Su Yancheng’s house. Su Yancheng had drunk too much, and Bai Xiaoduo was taking care of him, while Lin Xiaomiao was worried. Xiao Yang and the others, however, were enjoying themselves. Bai Xiaoduo helped Su Yancheng to bed, and Su Yancheng, still under the influence of alcohol, kept acting coquettishly toward her. He also mentioned that seeing Bai Xiaoduo smile so brightly in front of Yu Shubo made him feel upset.
Bai Xiaoduo felt guilty after hearing this. Everyone slept in the living room of Su Yancheng’s house. Suddenly, Su Yancheng’s parents returned. Lin Xiaomiao anxiously woke everyone up. Bai Xiaoduo, who was upstairs, also panicked when she heard that Su Yancheng’s parents had come back. However, Su Yancheng confidently took Bai Xiaoduo’s hand and admitted their relationship in front of his parents. Su Yancheng’s father obviously disapproved, while his mother was more subtle in her approach.
The others quickly left, leaving only Su Yancheng and Bai Xiaoduo. Su Yancheng’s mother took the opportunity to ask Su Yancheng and Bai Xiaoduo to leave, leaving Su Yancheng alone with his father, while she took Bai Xiaoduo upstairs. Su Yancheng’s father told him that he wanted Su Yancheng to study abroad, but in reality, he just wanted Su Yancheng to distance himself from his current friends, as he believed that they weren’t good influences.
Su Yancheng didn’t want his father to choose his path for him. Su Yancheng’s mother took him and Bai Xiaoduo out for dinner. Bai Xiaoduo took the initiative to talk to Su Yancheng’s mother, explaining how she and Su Yancheng met. Su Yancheng’s mother asked about Bai Xiaoduo’s family background, and Bai Xiaoduo lied again. On the way back to school, both Su Yancheng and Bai Xiaoduo were in deep thought, feeling downhearted.
Su Yancheng’s mother subtly mentioned Su Yancheng’s potential trip abroad, and Bai Xiaoduo understood that if Su Yancheng left, they wouldn’t be able to stay together. Meanwhile, Su Yancheng was thinking of ways to refuse his father’s offer. Yu Shubo and Yu Chi went out for a meal. Yu Shubo remembered that Yu Chi was allergic to peanuts, which surprised her.
This led Yu Chi to reminisce about the first time they met, especially the time when she confessed her feelings to Su Yancheng. Su Yancheng had been eating at the time and choked. After that, whenever they met, something always seemed to go wrong. Su Yancheng had deliberately kept his distance from Yu Chi, but now they both found the memories amusing. After finishing their tennis match, Su Yancheng and Xiao Yang chatted.
Su Yancheng told Xiao Yang that his parents wanted him to study abroad. Xiao Yang was surprised and asked how Su Yancheng planned to handle his relationship with Bai Xiaoduo if he went abroad. Su Yancheng decided to reject his father’s offer, wanting to avoid making Bai Xiaoduo upset, and asked Xiao Yang to keep it a secret. He Rui approached Su Yancheng because she had applied to study abroad next semester. She wanted to express her feelings to him, but she had no regrets.
