Su Yancheng came to find Bai Xiaoduo with Blake's manuscript, and by coincidence, he ran into Lin Xiaomiao. Lin Xiaomiao thought that Yu Shubo was bringing something for Bai Xiaoduo, so she offered to help take it upstairs. However, Yu Shubo hesitated with the manuscript in hand, unsure about carrying it, as he was pretending to be someone else. He then turned around and left.
Back at the dormitory, Lin Xiaomiao told Bai Xiaoduo about her encounter with Yu Shubo and mentioned the envelope she had seen him carrying. Bai Xiaoduo, hearing that Yu Shubo had come to her with the envelope, was thrilled. She thought that Yu Shubo might be bringing her the manuscript. Excited, she picked out clothes for herself, eagerly waiting for the next day when she and Yu Shubo would go to the amusement park together.
He Rui noticed that Bai Xiaoduo and Yu Shubo were spending more time together. She had initially observed how close Bai Xiaoduo and Su Yancheng had become, and how Su Yancheng had distanced himself from her several times due to Bai Xiaoduo. He Rui assumed the two were dating, so she decided to probe. Bai Xiaoduo honestly admitted that she and Su Yancheng were just good friends and expressed that she was more interested in Yu Shubo, not Su Yancheng.
He Rui, hearing this, was relieved and felt that Bai Xiaoduo wouldn’t be competing for Su Yancheng anymore. At that moment, Lin Xiaomiao's phone rang. It was Xiao Yang calling to meet her. Xiao Yang had prepared a rich selection of snacks for Lin Xiaomiao. However, Lin Xiaomiao, careless as always, accidentally let slip that Bai Xiaoduo and Yu Shubo were going to the amusement park together.
The next day, Bai Xiaoduo happily spent the day at the amusement park with Yu Shubo, but the student union called Yu Shubo, saying that there was something urgent and he needed to return. Bai Xiaoduo pretended to be understanding and encouraged Yu Shubo to prioritize his student union duties, allowing him to leave for school. Just as Bai Xiaoduo was feeling lonely, Su Yancheng appeared out of nowhere. They ended up playing an archery game together. It turned out that the night before, He Rui had told Su Yancheng about Bai Xiaoduo and Yu Shubo going to the park. Su Yancheng planned to promote Bai Xiaoduo to be the vice president of the manga club, and Bai Xiaoduo was very happy. They spent the whole day in the amusement park and had a great time. However, while they were riding the Ferris wheel, someone took a photo of them, mistakenly thinking they were a couple.
That evening, when they returned, Yu Shubo was waiting for Bai Xiaoduo. He apologized to her, but once again, someone managed to snap a photo of the two of them together. The next day, Bai Xiaoduo once again became the center of attention on campus. The photo of her with both Su Yancheng and Yu Shubo circulated, and people began gossiping that Bai Xiaoduo was playing both sides. Once again, Bai Xiaoduo became a hot topic. She had no choice but to bundle herself up tightly to go to class, afraid of being recognized by others.
