Han Fei and Wu Jinghao were having a meal together in a restaurant. Han Fei's gaze was fixed on Wu Jinghao, and she suddenly realized that she had forgotten to put on makeup when she left home today.
Later, Han Fei was intentionally tripped by a man while sitting alone at the table, and Wu Jinghao, who was nearby, couldn't stand it anymore and quickly stood up to help her. When they left, Han Fei thanked Wu Jinghao for his help, but she didn't understand why he was able to stand up for her today when he didn't dare to testify against Yu Han and Wang Xinyu before.
In Wu Jinghao's opinion, no one knew exactly what had happened between Yu Han and Wang Xinyu. If they interfered without knowing the full story, Wang Xinyu could end up getting beaten up.
But Han Fei didn't agree. She believed that the reason why bullies were able to expand was because good people were powerless. After she finished speaking, Han Fei left without hesitation, leaving Wu Jinghao standing there alone and bewildered.
When he returned to the classroom, he saw the school's internal notice that Wang Xinyu had been given a warning and punishment. He began to doubt if he had really done the right thing. Later, Wu Jinghao went to a flower shop alone and bought a bouquet of yellow roses that symbolized an apology.
When Han Fei and Late Peach went shopping, they happened to run into Wang Xinyu, who had injuries on his body. They were well aware of his situation, but he continued to lie, saying that he had been hit by a ball.
When class was over and the other students had left, Wu Jinghao and Han Fei stayed behind and walked together. He handed the bouquet of yellow roses to her, and Han Fei realized her mistake. She felt that she had been too idealistic and became angry when she realized that Wu Jinghao couldn't remember what had happened before. He looked at her with a proud and standoffish expression, and she reminded him of a prickly hedgehog.
After they left, Han Fei and Wu Jinghao sent a text message to Wang Xinyu, encouraging him to face his new life bravely and not to let anyone bully him again.
Chi Tao saw a basketball competition reward outside his dormitory and ran inside to ask his friend Wu Jinghao for help. But Wu Jinghao declined, saying he was not good at basketball and had many courses and exams to prepare for. Chi Tao then turned to his old friend Han Fei for help, but she also declined, knowing that Wu Jinghao had health problems.
When Chi Tao found out about Wu Jinghao's condition, he decided to care for his friend and help him with his tasks. Wu Jinghao thought that Chi Tao was only helping him to get him to join the basketball competition, but later learned that it was Han Fei who had explained his condition to Chi Tao. With Han Fei's encouragement, Wu Jinghao agreed to continue playing basketball.
Later that day, Wu Jinghao and another friend, Lin Ling, went to the basketball court to train and play. Han Fei also came to the court and noticed that their team was missing a member. They found Wang Xinyu practicing alone and invited him to join their team.
Yang Liangliang, the class monitor, also discovered the three friends' situation and asked Wu Jinghao to teach her how to shoot. Han Fei noticed that Wu Jinghao had no drink, so she went to buy him one, but got caught in the rain. When she returned, she found that Yang Liangliang had borrowed Wu Jinghao's clothes, making Han Fei jealous and upset. She did not continue to supervise the three friends' training.
Next to the basketball court, Yu Han saw Wang Xinyu and others having fun and began to manipulate them.
