After Zhu Meng found out that Mingzhu wanted to kick Tang Chenchen out of Baohulu, he confronted Tang Chenchen about it. Tang Chenchen was furious upon learning the truth and decided to do something that would make Zhu Meng see him in a different light. So he met with Jiang Qi and offered to exchange a designer bag for her positive coverage of Baohulu. Unfortunately, this was caught on camera and maliciously edited before being uploaded online, resulting in Jiang Qi losing her job and Baohulu's reputation being tarnished. This made Zhu Meng completely heartless in kicking out Tang Chenchen.
Later, when Zhu Meng was alone with Mingzhu and was being stumped by some questions, Tang Chenchen arrived to save the day. Zhu Meng realized that he couldn't do without Tang Chenchen. Mingzhu also saw the understanding between the two and made a compromise.
