Synopsis
The story centers on the adventures, vendettas, and loyalties of Cheng Hui, the former leader of the "Shanhai Gang." Though retired, he returns to Singapore to rebuild the gang when it comes under threat from rival factions. The assassination of Liu Xiongwu, the gang’s second-in-command, triggers a web of power struggles, territorial disputes, and schemes for ascension.
As the second generation of the "Shanhai Gang" begins to emerge, they struggle with the unresolved issues left by their predecessors. Meanwhile, a new wave of younger members rises. With colonial forces manipulating events from behind the scenes, the gang and those who live by a code of honor must decide their path forward in an uncertain future.
