The popularity of the play "Thunderstorm" finally gave these marginalized actors a chance to shine. Troupe leader He Danian assigned Lin Xiaohao and Che Che, a couple, to perform in a commercial play called "The Tomb Notes." However, Lin Xiaohao discovered that the play was heavily infused with advertisements, which severely affected the storyline.
