Shen Mingxi asked Xia Yumeng to help him find a book, but Xia Yumeng discovered that the book had been borrowed by Bai Ze. She went to get the book from Bai Ze, but Shen Mingxi misunderstood the situation. Later, Bai Ze invited Shen Mingxi to play basketball and they had a conversation. Bai Ze revealed that he didn't have feelings for Xia Yumeng and that she actually had feelings for Shen Mingxi. Meanwhile, Xia Yumeng was painting in the villa when Shen Mingxi suddenly kissed her and said they both had feelings for each other. Xia Yumeng reflected on their time together and realized that she liked Shen Mingxi, but decided to move out of the villa to calm down. As she was leaving during a sudden thunderstorm, her father saw her crying and had a bad impression of Shen Mingxi. He demanded that his daughter cut ties with him and escorted her to and from school.
