Xia Yumeng's roommates think that she has gone crazy and taken her comic too seriously. She spends her days feeling depressed and looking for evidence of Shen Mingxi's existence. She calls her editor to ask if he remembers Shen Mingxi, but he says he doesn't. She tells her editor that she doesn't want to draw comics anymore. In the studio, everyone is concerned about her, and Yuan Yilin accidentally smudges the watch that Shen Mingxi drew for Xia Yumeng. Xia Yumeng looks at the damaged watch and asks Yuan Yilin to help her take a leave of absence from school. Xia Yumeng finds that she can draw Shen Mingxi in her sketchbook again and accidentally comes across a message from him. She cries as she tells Shen Mingxi that she has drawn him as the male lead in her comic.
