Shen Mingxi's roommate Han Feiyang is pursuing Lin Luoluo, so Shen Mingxi asks him for advice and learns that in order to change his relationship with Xia Yumeng, he should become friends with her friends. So Shen Mingxi bribes his roommates with food, and the other girls tell him that Xia Yumeng has a crush on someone. Shen Mingxi says he knows she likes Bai Ze and that he likes Bai Ze too. Shen Mingxi takes everyone to the place where he and Bai Ze rehearse for the welcoming party and publicly announces that Xia Yumeng is closer to him than just a friend, leaving everyone confused. Xia Yumeng and Bai Ze are having lunch in the cafeteria when Shen Mingxi shows up. Xia Yumeng notices that Shen Mingxi and Bai Ze are getting closer and Shen Mingxi is trying hard to be nice to Bai Ze, even ignoring Xia Yumeng. Xia Yumeng becomes increasingly angry as she sees this scene.
