Qin Li returned home and asked Song Yifei if she had gone out today. Song Yifei said no. Qin Li thought about Xiao Tao's birthday and managed to crack Zheng Baosong's phone password. Qin Li sent a text message to Song Yifei, explaining the so-called truth, saying that he had committed a crime before and was caught. He thought Qin Li had reported him, so he had been causing trouble for Qin Li. But they met today and cleared things up. He also thanked Qin Li for taking care of Xiao Tao. Song Yifei was a bit skeptical and didn't know if this was the truth.
Song Yilan went to the company to find her brother-in-law and said that their family had helped him find the job. Her brother-in-law said he would resign immediately and didn't want anything, just a divorce. After saying that, he left. Song Yilan saw how determined her brother-in-law was and begged him not to divorce her.
Song Yifei asked Qin Li a question, whether he had deceived her since they got married. Qin Li hesitated for a moment and admitted that he had lied to Song Yifei. He said that he wanted to hide some things at first, so he lied and had to keep lying to cover up. Later, when he wanted to explain, he found that no one believed him no matter what he said.
Song Yifei said she didn't want to know the truth now, she just wanted to know if Qin Li would still lie to her in the future. Zheng Baosong was injured but still managed to climb up from the cliff.
