Recap

The sun rises, and the taste buds wake up along with it. Food blogger Su Shiyu starts her day with food, believing that delicious food brings a better life and helps her see a better version of herself. She reminds herself that she deserves the best. On the other hand, Lin Wei, viewing life as a play and everything as ephemeral, decides to leave behind his outward appearance, pack his belongings, and embark on a journey of self-improvement.

Su Shiyu dresses up carefully and heads to work, but she receives news that Good Flavor Coffee needs her urgently. Arriving at Good Flavor Coffee, she's busy on the phone near the elevator, and Lin Wei notices this and keeps the elevator door open for her. Suddenly, the elevator goes dark while they're inside. Startled, Su Shiyu unintentionally touches Lin Wei's chest, and realizing her mistake, she apologizes. The elevator gets stuck between two floors, and since the repairman is on the way, Su Shiyu, in a hurry, asks Lin Wei to carry her out of the elevator. She rushes to meet Huang, the boss, who has allegedly copied their company's ideas for his own Starlight company. Su Shiyu passionately defends her partner, Chen Xiangxiang, but she's taken aback when she learns that Starlight had already partnered with Chen Xiangxiang. In a moment of contemplation, Su Shiyu decides to leave with dignity.

Lin Wei, the son of the chairman of Good Flavor Coffee, is actually a second-generation wealthy individual. Despite his background, he chooses to leave the company at this moment. Chairman Lin attempts to advise his son, but Su Shiyu intervenes and obstructs him. Later, while waiting for the bus, Su Shiyu meets Lin Wei again and thanks him for his help earlier. She receives a call informing her that Chairman Lin's son has gone to the mountains for practice, and she laughs heartily, unaware that the person in question is right beside her. The tea leaves that Lin Wei had carefully prepared fall to the ground due to Su Shiyu's chatter. Coincidentally, they get off at the same station, and Su Shiyu apologizes multiple times, yet Lin Wei remains distant.

The mountain path is difficult, and Su Shiyu's high heels cause her to stumble. Lin Wei offers her a comfortable pair of shoes to wear. This is where Lin Wei had chosen to seclude himself and grow tea. He's determined to succeed here or not go back at all. Despite Chairman Lin's attempts to persuade him, Lin Wei remains resolute in his decision.

When Su Shiyu encounters a frustrated Chairman Lin, she tries to approach him for an opportunity, but he is uninterested in any solutions at the moment. Suddenly, heavy rain starts to pour, and Su Shiyu uses the rain cover Lin Wei prepared for his tea leaves to protect her bag. Lin Wei tries to stop her, but she accidentally steps on a nail and injures her foot. Lin Wei helps her once again, carrying her to his cabin and tending to her wound. Unexpectedly, Su Shiyu accidentally kicks Lin Wei's chin, and Chairman Lin, watching from outside with an umbrella, misinterprets the situation as a kiss between Su Shiyu and Lin Wei, finding delight in the scene.

After another apology, Su Shiyu initiates an exchange of names with Lin Wei. However, Lin Wei remains seated and meditates, responding irritably to Su Shiyu's questions after a while. Lin Wei kindly offers Su Shiyu a place to stay for the night, but she ends up burning his books for warmth, causing a rift between them. Feeling upset by Lin Wei's attitude, Su Shiyu vents her frustrations and unexpectedly receives a bun from Lin Wei, who had heard her stomach growling.

Su Shiyu spends the night there and leaves a note for Lin Wei before departing. While descending the mountain, she encounters Chairman Lin, who surprisingly offers to accompany her. He presents a condition: if Su Shiyu convinces Lin Wei to come down the mountain, she will be granted business opportunities for the next year. However, Su Shiyu is shocked to discover that the person she met yesterday is her potential benefactor, and she flees in surprise.

Shu Yue learns about the inside story, discovering that Lin Wei had gone to the mountains to practice after failing to seize power from his uncle, Jin Xingchen. His heart is heavy as he embarks on this journey.

In order to win over Lin Wei, Su Shiyu tries every possible method and devises a strategy. Her friend Bai Ruan advises her to think about her own strengths. Lin Wei is an exceptionally accomplished individual, graduating from a prestigious foreign university and being featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. This also means that Lin Wei has no time for romance. With 27 days left out of the one-month timeframe Chairman Lin gave her, Su Shiyu leaves home early with her makeup bag to strategize.

Today is the day when Chairman Lin and Lin Wei come together to pay respects to Lin Wei's mother. Chairman Lin mentions that Lin Wei's mother wished for him to return to the company and lead Good Flavor Coffee forward. In reality, Chairman Lin is in a difficult situation as well. The company is in chaos internally, and Jin Xingchen is nearly sidelining him. Just as the conversation unfolds, Jin Xingchen arrives as well, openly and subtly mocking Chairman Lin insincerely. Armed with a presentation, Su Shiyu attempts to strategize with Chairman Lin, but he sends her to strategize with Lin Wei instead. Su Shiyu starts by apologizing and thanking Lin Wei for a previous incident, but unintentionally hurts him in the process. Seizing the opportunity to get closer to Lin Wei by helping him apply a bandage, Su Shiyu suddenly realizes that she's the one being strategized, not Lin Wei. Chairman Lin approves of this development, thinking that Lin Wei's feelings for Su Shiyu are genuine. He suggests that Su Shiyu stay on the mountain for a few days and also asks her to persuade Lin Wei to return. Lin Wei's obsession is to cultivate the Eleven Miles Fragrance tea and relive its flavor. Su Shiyu waits for a while, and when Lin Wei finally emerges from the cemetery, he declines her invitation and walks away on his own.

Feeling down, Su Shiyu drives downhill, only for her car to break down on the road. While waiting for rescue, she takes a dragon fruit from the field and hides money under a stone using a brick. Lin Wei passes by and accidentally gets hit on the forehead by Su Shiyu again. Su Shiyu pleads with Lin Wei to wait for rescue together, but he misunderstands her intentions as a ploy for collaboration. In frustration, Su Shiyu admits her true intentions, claiming that Lin Wei, a regular person, will eventually fall in love with her if she persists. Lin Wei fixes the car, but as he leaves, the atmosphere between them becomes somewhat awkward.

The studio is now adorned with "For Rent" signs, and Chen Xiangxiang makes a sarcastic appearance. Shu Yue steps in at the critical moment to defend Su Shiyu against Chen Xiangxiang's mockery. The company hasn't received any orders for three months, and they need to pay the rent. In fact, Shu Yue has been wanting to quit under his mother's urging, but the right opportunity has never come.

Shu Yue accompanies Su Shiyu to Lin Wei's cabin, which is illuminated by a kerosene lamp due to the absence of electricity. Everything seems to be simple and genuine. Su Shiyu wants to understand Lin Wei better, so she sets up a tent at his doorstep, claiming it's a camping spot conveniently located at Lin Wei's house. Su Shiyu brings Lin Wei pastries as an apology for the car repair incident and then manages to join him for a meal. Despite finding Lin Wei's simple fare unappetizing, she forces herself to eat. Bai Ruan sends her a package of comfort and includes a "Love Handbook." In her pursuit of Lin Wei, Su Shiyu resorts to using tactics that she herself finds distasteful.

Su Shiyu's little tricks are hard to deploy in front of Lin Wei, but she doesn't lose heart. She goes to great lengths to create opportunities, even accompanying him to consult the abbot about Buddhist scriptures. Lin Wei repeatedly advises Su Shiyu against enduring the hardships of the mountains, suggesting that she not waste her time on something without results. However, it's evident that Su Shiyu doesn't heed Lin Wei's words.

Early the next day, Su Shiyu greets Lin Wei at his doorstep and uses his bathroom. Seeing Lin Wei cooking, she volunteers to help, resulting in chaos in the kitchen. Hungry, Su Shiyu searches for a restaurant but discovers that Lin Wei's mulching film has been destroyed by a dog. They inadvertently overhear that the culprit is a villager who dislikes Lin Wei. As the argument between the two parties escalates, the Village Head intervenes, and it turns out he's the uncle Su Shiyu previously helped unknowingly. Since Lin Wei didn't pursue the matter, neither does the Village Head. The village relies on coffee cultivation for over 90% of its livelihood, but the hindrance to Lin Wei's tea cultivation seems to be related to his mother.

Lin Wei goes to the convenience store to fetch a message, and Su Shiyu volunteers to accompany him as he descends the mountain. Lin Wei declines once again, but when the bus breaks down, he has no choice but to accept her offer and ride down the mountain in her car. Su Shiyu waits for him in the car until his matters are resolved, and she then drives him back up the mountain. In the middle of the night, Lin Wei brings mosquito repellent, solving the issue of numerous mosquitoes in the area.

Over the next period, Su Shiyu makes continuous efforts to integrate into Lin Wei's life and adopt his habits. However, one day Lin Wei opens the door and finds Su Shiyu missing. A call from the bank prompts Su Shiyu to return to deal with debt collection. After a reminder from Bai Ruan, Su Shiyu realizes that she can help Lin Wei by playing the role of a hero. Lin Wei's problem lies in his poor relationship with the villagers and the constant sabotage of his tea plants. Su Shiyu organizes a party to treat the villagers, attempting to improve relations. Lin Wei is surprised to see Su Shiyu again and doubts the effectiveness of her efforts, but she warmly invites him to join, and the outcome is unexpectedly positive.

After the party, under the influence of alcohol, Su Shiyu musters the courage to kiss Lin Wei, only to lose consciousness shortly after. She wakes up the next morning at his doorstep, but Lin Wei is nowhere to be found. While searching for him, Su Shiyu realizes Lin Wei is underwater, struggling to hold his breath. He admits that he's developed feelings for her. Upon hearing Su Shiyu's voice, Lin Wei dives underwater again. Su Shiyu unexpectedly settles at the water's edge to work, and Lin Wei can't hold his breath any longer, resurfacing. Amused, Su Shiyu playfully records him with her phone but accidentally falls into his arms.

When a passing woman sees them, Su Shiyu and Lin Wei quickly receive comforting messages from numerous relatives. Hungry and with aching stomachs, Su Shiyu decides to cook for herself, as Lin Wei shows no intention of helping. Upon hearing rumors in the village, the Village Head and Uncle Hua confront Lin Wei, claiming he's negatively influencing the village's atmosphere and demanding that he leave.

On that day, there was another witness to the scene where Su Shiyu drunkenly kissed Lin Wei—Shu Yue. Whenever he recalled this scene later on, he found it quite strange. Su Shiyu's attempt to cook duck in Lin Wei's vegetarian pot led to her being driven down the mountain. The studio was in dire straits, with not enough money to cover utilities, let alone social security and salaries. Despite this, Su Shiyu decided to pay Shu Yue's salary on time, even though the funds in her account were insufficient. She planned to give him his payment at the end of the month.

Su Shiyu brought delicious food to find Lin Wei, but his attitude towards her was far from favorable. He believed that Su Shiyu was the source of rumors in the village. Rejected at the door, Su Shiyu's mood worsened as the landlord came to collect rent. Feeling frustrated, she decided to drink the alcohol she brought alone, then mustered the determination to find Lin Wei. Su Shiyu's noisy intrusion disrupted Lin Wei's peace of mind, and he even considered using money to drive her away. Feeling both wronged and indignant, Su Shiyu had a heated argument with him before leaving while clutching her stomach. Seeing her distress, Lin Wei lifted her up and took her to the hospital. She was diagnosed with gastroenteritis and needed intravenous fluids. Just moments before she had been urging Lin Wei to leave, but now she saw Chen Xiangxiang was also sick, supported by her boyfriend, and they both arrived in the infusion room. Su Shiyu's demeanor changed abruptly as she called out to Lin Wei as "brother." Then, she and Chen Xiangxiang began to engage in a rivalry between their boyfriends. Lin Wei left the hospital without giving them any face.

On the way up the mountain, Lin Wei found a prayer ribbon and quickly turned back to pick it up. In the infusion room, Chen Xiangxiang and Su Shiyu got into a heated argument. Chen Xiangxiang showed no hint of remorse for her betrayal. Su Shiyu, on the other hand, sold her only valuable possession—a bag that Chen Xiangxiang, Shu Yue, and Bai Ruan had bought for her on her birthday—to recover some funds. Shu Yue wanted to take this opportunity to resign, but Su Shiyu had already known and advised him to reconsider. She assured him that she'd support him if he found better opportunities. Wiping away her tears, Su Shiyu turned around only to find Lin Wei standing behind her with a bowl of the duck soup she wanted. In order to make amends, Su Shiyu bought a little duck and Lin Wei named it Shen Yan.

This time, Lin Wei arranged a small room for Su Shiyu to stay in. Although the bed was a bit hard and the room was small, Su Shiyu didn't mind. Lin Wei's room for Shen Yan was even simpler, and despite Su Shiyu's strong protest, Lin Wei provided a makeshift shelter for it. However, when it came to Su Shiyu referring to them as Shen Yan's parents, Lin Wei wanted to resist. To make things more convenient for Su Shiyu, Lin Wei arranged for electricity in the house. However, the Village Head ordered Lin Wei to leave and even demolished the tea shed he had built. Faced with this unreasonable situation, Lin Wei was indeed saddened. Su Shiyu approached the Village Head to stand up for Lin Wei's rights, but he told her she should focus on her own company. After all, Lin Wei was attempting to grow the nearly extinct "Eleven Li Fragrance," a task even more difficult than reaching the heavens. Lin Wei set up a tent on his own, and when Su Shiyu met Lin Wei, she initially thought he was just joking, only to realize he was serious. Lin Wei told her to go ahead and try, as long as she could convince him to come down the mountain—even if it meant destroying the tea plants, he had her back.

Su Shiyu used a heat pack to feign a fever and called Lin Wei to come see her. Lin Wei plucked aloe vera to make a gel, claiming it could alleviate the fever.

Lin Wei looked at Su Shiyu's back and asked her if she was really running a fever. However, just at that moment, a woman came to visit. She was a friend of Lin Wei's and even brought a book about tea cultivation for him. This girl turned out to be Lin Wei's friend and called Su Shiyu a little enchantress while looking at her. Upon learning that Su Shiyu had a fever, Luo Feifei wanted to test if it was real. Su Shiyu quickly avoided her, but Lin Wei came over and exposed her. Su Shiyu personally brewed coffee for Lin Wei and Luo Feifei. However, the two of them seemed uninterested in Su Shiyu as they were busy preparing to rebuild their greenhouse. Just then, a group of people arrived in cars, and Su Shiyu thought they were deliberately causing trouble, but to her surprise, they all knew each other.

Today, friends came to help Lin Wei set up the greenhouse. After all, if the greenhouse wasn't set up in two days, all the tea seedlings would die. Seeing everyone busy, Su Shiyu could only leave quietly. In the evening, Lin Wei still hadn't returned, so Su Shiyu had to chat with the ducks she had brought home. Although she said sour words, she still cooked dinner for Lin Wei. When Lin Wei returned and saw it, he felt warm inside.

Su Shiyu watched everyone setting up the greenhouse and worried that Huashu would tear it down once he found out. She saw Lin Wei almost falling off the ladder and quickly helped him. Lin Wei asked Su Shiyu to go back first. Luo Feifei intentionally told Lin Wei that Su Shiyu was pretending to be sick with ill intentions, but Lin Wei didn't respond.

Su Shiyu fell asleep in bed at night, but the ducks were nowhere to be seen. Su Shiyu quickly went out to look for them and saw Lin Wei and Luo Feifei chatting. When Lin Wei learned that the ducks were missing, he ignored Luo Feifei's objections and went into the mountains to find Su Shiyu. Su Shiyu's flashlight had no battery left, but luckily, she found the ducks. Lin Wei soon arrived and put his clothes on Su Shiyu.

Su Shiyu intentionally held Lin Wei's face, and Lin Wei thought she was going to kiss him. However, Su Shiyu just wanted him to look at the stars, leaving Lin Wei somewhat disappointed.

Shu Yue also told Bai Ruan that he had resigned. Bai Ruan mentioned that it was the most difficult time for the company now, and Su Shiyu had already sold her bag. Shu Yue actively found Su Shiyu and expressed that he wouldn't leave. Instead, he promised to become a shareholder. Shu Yue also called his mother and told her that he wouldn't be going back, as he needed to work for the company.

Jin Xingchen and Bai Ruan came to the village to talk about planting a new variety of tea. Huashu was the first to express support. Jin Xingchen learned that the villagers opposed Lin Wei's tea cultivation in the mountains and asked Huashu to take care of Lin Wei. Later, Jin Xingchen found Lin Wei and told him that if he had a conscience, he should know who was responsible for his mother's death. Bai Ruan also told Su Shiyu about this, and although Jin Xingchen disliked Lin Wei, he surprisingly supported his tea cultivation. Su Shiyu was now unsure of what to do, as her goal was to get Lin Wei to leave the mountain.

Su Shiyu went to the greenhouse and initially intended to step on the tea seedlings, but Lin Wei arrived just in time. Lin Wei even gave Su Shiyu a raincoat. Su Shiyu stayed to help Lin Wei build a drainage ditch so that the water could flow away. After they finished, Su Shiyu confessed that she had originally come to step on the tea seedlings, but Lin Wei knew it, and she didn't go through with it. Su Shiyu wanted to know why Lin Wei insisted on planting tea on the mountain, but Lin Wei didn't answer.

Su Shiyu wanted to ask the neighbor Aunt Wang, but Aunt Wang didn't know either and gave Su Shiyu two psychology-related books. Su Shiyu held Lin Wei's face and magically made the initially unappetizing food taste delicious. Lin Wei also found it much tastier, and it seemed like their relationship had taken a step forward.

After Jin Xingchen returned, he discussed Su Shiyu's company with others. He mentioned that he planned to invest in Chen Xiangxiang's company, and Lin Wei's father reluctantly accepted it since Jin Xingchen was the one in charge now. Lin Wei's father had no choice but to inform Su Shiyu about this development. After all, Jin Xingchen was making the decisions now. Su Shiyu wanted to persuade Lin Wei's father to stay, but he could only leave in haste.

Su Shiyu returned to the company and found Shu Yue conducting interviews. Not wanting to discourage Shu Yue, she changed the topic, and they started looking for new opportunities together. Su Shiyu went to a restaurant for a taste test while Lin Wei was waiting for her to return. However, Luo Feifei approached Lin Wei and informed him that Su Shiyu wouldn't be coming back, showing him a live stream on her phone. Luo Feifei noticed that Lin Wei's attitude towards Su Shiyu was different from others, but Lin Wei just praised Su Shiyu and asked Luo Feifei not to overthink it.

Luo Feifei handed the phone to Lin Wei and suggested that he watch Su Shiyu's live stream himself. Although Lin Wei claimed he wasn't interested, he was secretly captivated. Su Shiyu accidentally spilled red wine on the borrowed clothes, which were very expensive. Shu Yue quickly helped her clean it, and Lin Wei, who was watching the video, felt uncomfortable. Shu Yue had to contact the brand to try and get a discount to purchase the clothes.

During Su Shiyu's live stream, she noticed there were flies on the dishes served. Despite needing the money, she had professional ethics and decided to end the live stream. However, the restaurant manager disagreed. Su Shiyu started speaking the truth, stating that their dishes were average, overpriced, and not fresh. She decided not to promote the restaurant anymore. The manager even demanded an apology and accused Su Shiyu's fans of being fake. Su Shiyu became very angry, and after Lin Wei refused to give them another chance, she became emotional and expressed her frustrations. This led to a dispute, and the live stream was interrupted.

Since Su Shiyu couldn't drive due to drinking, she had to call a driver. While waiting for the car, she apologized to Shu Yue. It seemed like the project had fallen through. However, Shu Yue wasn't angry and comforted Su Shiyu. At that moment, Lin Wei surprisingly arrived on an electric scooter. He not only came to pick them up but also called someone from the Market Supervision Bureau. Lin Wei then rode them home. Su Shiyu, accustomed to it, lay down on the bed and fell asleep. Shu Yue had no choice but to stay there for the night.

Su Shiyu woke up in the middle of the night and found Shu Yue sleeping on Lin Wei's bed. When she went outside, she saw Lin Wei sitting nearby, and she initiated a conversation. Lin Wei learned from Shu Yue that Su Shiyu would be leaving the mountain the next day. After all, the agreement between Su Shiyu and Lin Wei was no longer in effect, so there was no need for her to stay. Before leaving, Su Shiyu advised Lin Wei not to cling to the past and focus on the present and future. She hoped Lin Wei could move forward.

The next morning, Su Shiyu received a call informing her that Lin Wei's father wanted her to come to the company. Bai Ruan learned that Jin Xingchen had forcibly chosen Chen Xiangxiang's company and realized the nature of her relationship with Su Shiyu. Later, Chen Xiangxiang and Su Shiyu went to the meeting room. Su Shiyu and Jin Xingchen also arrived, and Chen Xiangxiang pretended to speak well of Su Shiyu while subtly criticizing her. Jin Xingchen didn't want Su Shiyu to be chosen, so he intentionally provoked her during the conversation. At that moment, Lin Wei unexpectedly arrived in a suit. He asked them to leave and mentioned that although there was a mistake in Su Shiyu's live stream the previous night, her quick apology had generated publicity for the company. However, Jin Xingchen was unwilling to compromise. Although he didn't respond at the time, he later had his secretary inform Lin Wei that he was willing to let Chen Xiangxiang and Su Shiyu compete to see whose work could generate more publicity.

Lin Wei's father also informed Su Shiyu about the competition, expressing his gratitude to Lin Wei for giving Su Shiyu a chance. He believed that Lin Wei must have feelings for Su Shiyu; otherwise, he wouldn't have come down from the mountain. Initially, Bai Ruan had considered resigning, but Jin Xingchen accused her of being a corporate spy and demanded that she not resign. He offered triple her current salary in exchange for regular reports on Su Shiyu and Lin Wei's situation.

This time, Lin Wei helped Su Shiyu, and as a token of her gratitude, Su Shiyu wanted to buy Lin Wei a new phone. Su Shiyu originally intended to buy a smartphone like the one they were currently using, but Lin Wei only wanted a simple phone for seniors. They gave each other nicknames in their phones: Su Shiyu as "Shen Yan Mom" (referring to Little Duck's mom), and Lin Wei as "Shen Yan Dad" (referring to Little Duck's dad). As Su Shiyu spent more time with Lin Wei, she initially thought he was a playboy, but over time, she felt that he must have a backstory. Su Shiyu also mentioned her plans to do a live stream in the mountains.

Su Shiyu hired a truck to transport her belongings to the mountain, but the driver wanted to overcharge her. Lin Wei noticed this and intervened to prevent any conflict. He sternly warned the driver. Su Shiyu had brought a substantial amount of stuff, indicating her intent to stay for an extended period.

At night, Su Shiyu was applying a face mask and discussing her plans with Bai Ruan. Bai Ruan wished her luck. Lin Wei entered Su Shiyu's room and noticed that it was completely different from before. Su Shiyu had decorated it like a princess's room and even brought her robotic vacuum cleaner. Lin Wei was left speechless.

Early the next morning, Su Shiyu had workers install two swings outside, which created a loud noise when they were being assembled. Lin Wei confronted her about it, and Su Shiyu quickly apologized. She even gave Lin Wei her noise-canceling headphones to avoid disturbing him. Su Shiyu explained that she had moved all her business to the mountain. Lin Wei didn't expect this and joked with Su Shiyu.

Later, Luo Feifei and Shu Yue coincidentally met on the road and went to find Su Shiyu and Lin Wei together. Luo Feifei's real intention for coming was to learn from Su Shiyu's rejection experience, but Su Shiyu was not interested in engaging with her. Shu Yue wanted to know if Lin Wei would harm his master and stated that he would keep a close eye on Lin Wei. Lin Wei, however, had no intention of engaging with him and simply covered himself with a blanket to sleep.

Su Shiyu didn't sleep well all night, and when she woke up, she took Shu Yue aside to ask him for a favor. She wanted him to create an opportunity for her. Shu Yue initially didn't understand but quickly caught on to Su Shiyu's plan. Su Shiyu then sent him to buy some items. Later, Su Shiyu asked Lin Wei to help her shoot a video. Only when they were shooting the video could they be close to each other. Shu Yue returned and saw them together but tried to find excuses to separate them. Luo Feifei noticed Shu Yue's intentions, and he wanted to team up with her since their goals were to separate Su Shiyu and Lin Wei. Luo Feifei approached Lin Wei, wanting to borrow something, but he refused and told her not to touch Su Shiyu's belongings. During the day, Shu Yue was helping Su Shiyu with the roof, which disturbed Su Shiyu. She scolded him for the disruption. Su Shiyu overheard a conversation between Lin Wei and Luo Feifei and learned that Lin Wei was not interested in marriage. She realized that she had underestimated her control over him and found it difficult to cope with the situation.

Late at night, Su Shiyu's room started leaking, and her bed was soaked. She had to seek help from Lin Wei. After Lin Wei fixed it, Su Shiyu brewed cold medicine for him. With only the two of them left, Lin Wei wanted to have a meaningful conversation with Su Shiyu, but she kept finding excuses to change the topic. Eventually, Su Shiyu initiated the conversation and confessed that she had something she wanted to clarify with Lin Wei. Initially, Lin Wei was taken aback, but Su Shiyu kissed him. At first, Lin Wei resisted, but eventually, he reciprocated, holding Su Shiyu in his arms as they shared a passionate kiss.

Lin Wei asked Su Shiyu if she had something to say to him. Su Shiyu replied that she wanted to confirm something and before Lin Wei could react, she kissed him. Initially, Lin Wei tried to resist, but eventually, he yielded to Su Shiyu. Shu Yue happened to witness this scene and quickly asked them to separate. The next morning, Su Shiyu saw Lin Wei airing the bedding, so she went over to help. Lin Wei felt a bit embarrassed and made an excuse to go into the room.

Lin Wei remembered what happened the previous night. Shu Yue took the opportunity to ask Lin Wei if he had genuine feelings for Su Shiyu. Although Lin Wei didn't answer, Shu Yue kindly advised him not to hurt Su Shiyu.

Chen Xiangxiang deliberately blocked Jin Xingchen, who was about to go to work, and said many bad things about Su Shiyu. Furthermore, she accused Bai Ruan of being opportunistic. Jin Xingchen didn't want to deal with Chen Xiangxiang and left immediately.

Lin Wei's father, the Village Head, knew that Su Shiyu was going to live-stream the next day, so he came to cheer her on and encouraged her to speed up and work with Lin Wei. Su Shiyu could only say she would try her best.

Jin Xingchen deliberately found Lin Wei, who was planting tea, and even thought that Lin Wei was just acting. He said that only by growing good tea here could he console his sister's spirit in heaven. Then, Jin Xingchen poured water on the ground and left.

When Lin Wei returned, he saw Su Shiyu. Lin Wei explained that Su Shiyu might have misunderstood him, and he wasn't ready for another relationship at the moment. Su Shiyu didn't initially understand what Lin Wei meant.

When Lin Wei returned to his room, he took out the ribbon with Su Shiyu's wishes written on it. He said he would find her because of what he saw on the ribbon. Su Shiyu was disappointed and went back to her room.

At night, Lin Wei had a nightmare in which he couldn't see his mother's face clearly. When he woke up from the nightmare, his eyes were filled with tears. He looked at the notebook on the bedside table, which contained his mother's photo and her death certificate. Lin Wei was deeply upset.

Su Shiyu wanted to find Lin Wei but hesitated for a long time and didn't dare to knock on the door. The next morning, while picking vegetables, Su Shiyu was still debating whether to give up. Shu Yue also came over to persuade Su Shiyu to give up. At that moment, Lin Wei and Luo Feifei returned together.

Lin Wei told Su Shiyu that if she wanted to stay in the village for live-streaming or selling products, he wouldn't oppose it, but they could only be friends. Su Shiyu repeatedly asked Lin Wei and got the same answer, which made her leave in sadness.

Lin Wei told Luo Feifei about the situation, but his heart was not really in it. Although he claimed that he and Su Shiyu were just friends, he actually held deeper feelings for her.

Bai Ruan was thinking about how to send a message to Jin Xingchen about her resignation. However, before she could finish editing the message, she accidentally sent it to Jin Xingchen when Su Shiyu entered. Later, Bai Ruan received a message reply praising her as a good secretary, and she knew she was in trouble.

Chen Xingxing rushed to take some footage before Su Shiyu. She even spilled coffee on Su Shiyu's only camera and pretended it was an accident. When the aunties saw Su Shiyu being bullied and tried to help, Su Shiyu's attempt to film footage was once again ruined.

Su Shiyu hadn't contacted Lin Wei during this time, but she was still hoping to receive a message from him. Su Shiyu kindly brought some food to the aunties and learned that all the tea seedlings planted by Lin Wei had died due to heavy rain.

Su Shiyu and Shu Yue gave some gifts to the aunts. The aunts told Su Shiyu about the destruction of Lin Wei's tea garden by a violent storm. Without hesitation, Su Shiyu rushed over to check. However, she soon discovered that Lin Wei was no longer there. At first, Su Shiyu was holding an umbrella, but later, she joined Lin Wei in getting soaked by the rain. Su Shiyu also told Lin Wei that there is nothing that can't be solved. Lin Wei went to find the Village Head, but the Village Head did not agree with their ideas. In fact, when Lin Wei's mother initially wanted to plant coffee beans, the villagers were strongly against it. However, when there was a harvest, the villagers became happy. Lin Wei's mother then wanted to plant Eleven Miles Fragrance, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't succeed.

Su Shiyu felt that the most important thing now was to protect these tea seedlings. Luo Feifei, who came to find Lin Wei, overheard this and joined them in helping to protect the tea seedlings from the cold winter nights. Despite their words, the two girls started getting jealous again, both wanting to be alone with Lin Wei.

Whenever she had free time, Su Shiyu would go to check on the tea seedlings. But so far, there were no signs of the tea seedlings surviving. Shu Yue had searched for many books and gave them to Luo Feifei, as he hoped that Luo Feifei could succeed, allowing Su Shiyu to return with him. Luo Feifei handed the books over to others, and currently, the best method was to use a heat-preserving box. However, Eleven Miles Fragrance was very delicate, and reviving it was not easy.

On the other hand, Su Shiyu kept pestering the Village Head, hoping to get information on how to save the tea seedlings. The Village Head, in turn, wouldn't reveal the secret easily. He asked Su Shiyu to help with farm work, saying that only after finishing the farm work would he tell her the secret.

When the aunts saw Luo Feifei and Lin Wei together, they intentionally used the excuse of helping to separate the two. Luo Feifei felt resentful but didn't dare to voice it. Lin Wei learned from the Village Head that Su Shiyu was still working in the fields to get information. Lin Wei went to help Su Shiyu with the farm work. Shu Yue saw this and was not pleased, but he had no choice.

They quickly finished the farm work with Su Shiyu's help. However, the Village Head eventually discovered them. Seeing that Lin Wei had injured his ankle, he called Lin Wei back to help with the bandaging. Initially, Su Shiyu wanted to help, but Shu Yue didn't want her to get too close to Lin Wei, so he said he would help instead.

Su Shiyu continued to talk to the Village Head about the tea seedlings, but the Village Head found an excuse to leave. Lin Wei then went to the Village Head and told him that he understood his difficulties. At this moment, Luo Feifei returned, as she was the Village Head's niece. She kept begging her uncle to tell her the secret, but the Village Head still didn't say.

After Su Shiyu learned about the conflict between Lin Wei's mother and the Village Head, she realized it was because Lin Wei's mother had given up Eleven Miles Fragrance to plant coffee beans in the past, which was now seen as karma. The Village Head was adamant about not revealing how to save the tea seedlings.

Jin Xingchen gave a necklace to Bai Ruan, who was somewhat surprised and didn't know why he was giving it to her. Bai Ruan wanted to leave, but she was stopped. By this time, Su Shiyu's group had already become drunk, with only Lin Wei remaining sober. The intoxicated Su Shiyu wanted to carry Shu Yue back, but Lin Wei stopped her. On the other side, Bai Ruan was also drunk, and Jin Xingchen wanted to take her back to her room. Although Bai Ruan spoke nonsense and Jin Xingchen said he wouldn't let her off, he didn't take her words seriously.

Bai Ruan woke up and found herself in a strange place. When she looked at the photo on the bedside table, she realized that she was actually lying in Jin Xingchen's bed. She then realized that she had gotten really drunk and had forgotten what happened last night.

At this moment, Su Shiyu was recording a video of cooking delicious food. Bai Ruan overslept and was late for work. She had originally planned to sneak into the office, but Jin Xingchen saw her and deliberately loudly mentioned that she had been out drinking last night, making Bai Ruan very embarrassed.

Su Shiyu had prepared some delicious food to please the Village Head, but he didn't seem to care much. Su Shiyu kept pestering him, and she even acted as if the food was incredibly delicious. Eventually, the Village Head was moved by her persistence and brought the villagers to help Lin Wei.

Lin Wei was grateful to Su Shiyu, and it was thanks to her that the Village Head agreed. Luo Feifei was not happy about this and deliberately stood between them. She asked Lin Wei to escort her back home, but Su Shiyu arranged for Shu Yue to accompany Luo Feifei. On the way, Shu Yue accidentally slipped, and Luo Feifei thought that it was because they hadn't planned properly and decided to be more careful next time.

Su Shiyu told Lin Wei that she believed the tea seedlings could definitely sprout again. Lin Wei noticed that Su Shiyu seemed to have a fever, so he quickly asked her to go back. Su Shiyu wasn't feeling well, and she asked Lin Wei to buy some medicine for her.

During Su Shiyu's discomfort, Lin Wei, although not very knowledgeable, offered to make her a cup of brown sugar water. When Lin Wei came back, Su Shiyu had already fallen asleep. When Lin Wei touched Su Shiyu's face, Shu Yue unexpectedly returned.

When Shu Yue was heading down the mountain, his mother suddenly called him because his birthday was approaching. She had sent him some money to buy a gift for himself. Shu Yue's first thought was to buy back the bag that Su Shiyu had pawned. However, when he saw Lin Wei taking care of her, he left quietly.

Thanks to the improvement of the tea seedlings, Su Shiyu and Lin Wei were very happy. They went to the supermarket together to buy ingredients for dinner. With the help of Aunt Wang and others, Su Shiyu also invited everyone to have dinner together. Lin Wei wasn't good at socializing, so Su Shiyu helped out.

Seeing that it was about to rain again, Lin Wei prepared to go to the tea plantation. Su Shiyu quickly asked him to get an umbrella. When Su Shiyu was packing in her room, she unexpectedly found the bag she had pawned. Shu Yue had to admit that he had redeemed it for her, showing his sincerity.

Su Shiyu accidentally lost her SD card, but Shu Yue kept using a flashlight to help her search for it. Su Shiyu suddenly realized that Shu Yue had done a lot for her and couldn't help but apologize to him.

The next day, when Su Shiyu was recording a video, she invited Aunt Wang and others. It was their first time recording, and Aunt Wang and the others felt a bit uneasy. Just when their emotions were finally in sync, there were too many disturbances on the side, making it impossible to shoot properly.

Su Shiyu and Shu Yue looked very happy together, which made Lin Wei, who was working in the background, feel uncomfortable. Su Shiyu wanted to negotiate with the client for her own work, but they didn't seem interested. Shu Yue suggested that their only option was to talk to Chen Xiangxiang, but she refused, citing their lack of dedication. On the other hand, Su Shiyu was not giving up.

While Su Shiyu was away from the mountain, Lin Wei prepared a homemade bathtub for her, as she had mentioned wanting to take a bath. Luo Feifei initially wanted to use it but was denied by Lin Wei, who said the paint hadn't dried yet. When Su Shiyu returned home, she saw the bathtub prepared by Lin Wei. At first, she was very happy, but Luo Feifei suddenly rushed out and intentionally praised the bathtub as being very useful.

A relaxed and romantic pastoral-style love story

Sweet Romance Breaks the Mold, Elicits Resonance - A Two-Way Healing Love Touching the Audience, Heartfelt Presentation of Countryside Healing Earns Praise, Becoming a Romantic Sanctuary Desired by Viewers

In a story that unfolds in an unconventional way, “Dear Mr. Recluse” places two young individuals, Lin Wei and Su Shi Yu, in the tranquil wilderness far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Through the natural cleansing of their souls and the solace they find in getting closer to each other step by step, the show gradually sketches a sweet mutual affection that is heartwarming, offering viewers a refreshing sense of healing.

Lin Wei is not simply 'escaping' from the world; deep down, he carries a strong sense of responsibility and lofty ambitions. Meanwhile, Su Shi Yu, while giving Lin Wei confidence and courage, also strengthens her determination to pursue her dreams.

This mutual pursuit of love, regardless of their differences in background, distinguishes itself from the typical formulaic sweet romance dramas. In “Dear Mr. Recluse”, whether it's the humorous and witty moments or the abundant displays of affection, I believe everyone can feel the genuine resonance with life.
