Dear Mr. Recluse Episode 5 Recap
> Dear Mr. Recluse Recap
Lin Wei looked at Su Shiyu's back and asked her if she was really running a fever. However, just at that moment, a woman came to visit. She was a friend of Lin Wei's and even brought a book about tea cultivation for him. This girl turned out to be Lin Wei's friend and called Su Shiyu a little enchantress while looking at her. Upon learning that Su Shiyu had a fever, Luo Feifei wanted to test if it was real. Su Shiyu quickly avoided her, but Lin Wei came over and exposed her. Su Shiyu personally brewed coffee for Lin Wei and Luo Feifei. However, the two of them seemed uninterested in Su Shiyu as they were busy preparing to rebuild their greenhouse. Just then, a group of people arrived in cars, and Su Shiyu thought they were deliberately causing trouble, but to her surprise, they all knew each other.
Today, friends came to help Lin Wei set up the greenhouse. After all, if the greenhouse wasn't set up in two days, all the tea seedlings would die. Seeing everyone busy, Su Shiyu could only leave quietly. In the evening, Lin Wei still hadn't returned, so Su Shiyu had to chat with the ducks she had brought home. Although she said sour words, she still cooked dinner for Lin Wei. When Lin Wei returned and saw it, he felt warm inside.
Su Shiyu watched everyone setting up the greenhouse and worried that Huashu would tear it down once he found out. She saw Lin Wei almost falling off the ladder and quickly helped him. Lin Wei asked Su Shiyu to go back first. Luo Feifei intentionally told Lin Wei that Su Shiyu was pretending to be sick with ill intentions, but Lin Wei didn't respond.
Su Shiyu fell asleep in bed at night, but the ducks were nowhere to be seen. Su Shiyu quickly went out to look for them and saw Lin Wei and Luo Feifei chatting. When Lin Wei learned that the ducks were missing, he ignored Luo Feifei's objections and went into the mountains to find Su Shiyu. Su Shiyu's flashlight had no battery left, but luckily, she found the ducks. Lin Wei soon arrived and put his clothes on Su Shiyu.
Su Shiyu intentionally held Lin Wei's face, and Lin Wei thought she was going to kiss him. However, Su Shiyu just wanted him to look at the stars, leaving Lin Wei somewhat disappointed.
Shu Yue also told Bai Ruan that he had resigned. Bai Ruan mentioned that it was the most difficult time for the company now, and Su Shiyu had already sold her bag. Shu Yue actively found Su Shiyu and expressed that he wouldn't leave. Instead, he promised to become a shareholder. Shu Yue also called his mother and told her that he wouldn't be going back, as he needed to work for the company.
Jin Xingchen and Bai Ruan came to the village to talk about planting a new variety of tea. Huashu was the first to express support. Jin Xingchen learned that the villagers opposed Lin Wei's tea cultivation in the mountains and asked Huashu to take care of Lin Wei. Later, Jin Xingchen found Lin Wei and told him that if he had a conscience, he should know who was responsible for his mother's death. Bai Ruan also told Su Shiyu about this, and although Jin Xingchen disliked Lin Wei, he surprisingly supported his tea cultivation. Su Shiyu was now unsure of what to do, as her goal was to get Lin Wei to leave the mountain.
Su Shiyu went to the greenhouse and initially intended to step on the tea seedlings, but Lin Wei arrived just in time. Lin Wei even gave Su Shiyu a raincoat. Su Shiyu stayed to help Lin Wei build a drainage ditch so that the water could flow away. After they finished, Su Shiyu confessed that she had originally come to step on the tea seedlings, but Lin Wei knew it, and she didn't go through with it. Su Shiyu wanted to know why Lin Wei insisted on planting tea on the mountain, but Lin Wei didn't answer.
Su Shiyu wanted to ask the neighbor Aunt Wang, but Aunt Wang didn't know either and gave Su Shiyu two psychology-related books. Su Shiyu held Lin Wei's face and magically made the initially unappetizing food taste delicious. Lin Wei also found it much tastier, and it seemed like their relationship had taken a step forward.
